Build more responsive Elementor forms
Conditional Fields Pro extends Elementor forms with advanced conditional logic. It is designed for forms that need to respond to what visitors enter, rather than displaying the same fields and actions to everyone. Use form values as conditions and create different experiences for different answers, user types, or requests.
The plugin works with Elementor Pro and Hello Plus form widget fields. Its conditional approach is based on clear if/else logic: when a selected condition is true, the configured action is applied; when it is not true, an alternative state can be used.
Advanced conditional actions
- Conditional redirects: Send visitors to different URLs after form submission according to the conditions matched in their answers.
- Conditional emails: Create multiple email templates and send different messages to different user types based on their submitted values.
- Conditional Mailchimp: Apply conditional logic to Mailchimp actions within your Elementor form workflow.
- Submit-button conditions: Show, hide, enable, or disable the submit button according to input values.
Submit-button rules can help control when a form may be submitted. For example, the submit button can be disabled when a textarea contains illegal words, providing a way to address a form-spam scenario through conditional input handling.
Flexible rules for complex forms
Conditional Fields Pro supports multiple conditions with either AND or OR logic. Use AND logic when every specified condition must be met, or OR logic when an action should run after any specified condition is matched. This makes it possible to create more precise workflows without writing code.
Conditions can compare field values with operators such as equals, not equals, greater than, less than, less than or equal to, and related comparison options. Use these rules to connect one field to another and determine which fields or form actions should be available.
Practical ways to use it
- Direct different enquiry types to relevant destination pages after submission.
- Send tailored emails to different groups based on their answers.
- Show or hide follow-up fields when a visitor selects a particular option.
- Control form submission based on entered text or other field values.
- Combine several answers to create more specific form paths.
Installation and setup
Install Conditional Fields Pro on a WordPress site using Elementor forms, then activate it. Open the relevant Elementor form and define conditions using the IDs and values of the fields that should control each action. Select the required operator and choose AND or OR logic when several conditions are involved.
After configuring the rules, test each possible response path. Check field visibility, submit-button behavior, redirects, email templates, and Mailchimp actions so the form follows the intended workflow for every relevant combination of inputs.
