Flexible data imports for WordPress
WP All Import Pro is a paid upgrade for importing XML, CSV, Excel, and Google Sheets files into WordPress. It uses a four-step import process and a drag-and-drop interface, allowing you to map incoming data without requiring the source file to follow a particular layout.
The Pro edition is suited to migrations, content updates, directory projects, data-driven websites, and other workflows where WordPress content must be created or maintained from external files. Work with different file formats
WP All Import handles XML, CSV, Excel spreadsheets, and Google Sheets files. CSV imports follow the same general process as XML imports because the plugin converts CSV data to XML internally. This allows the same XPath filtering options and import features to be used while working with CSV content.
The drag-and-drop workflow helps connect fields from an external file with WordPress content. Custom fields can hold data associated with posts, including information used by themes and custom post types. Images can be brought into the media gallery from links stored in the source file.
Recurring content maintenance
For data that changes over time, WP All Import Pro can check an external file on a recurring basis through cron jobs. The import can then add new posts, edit existing imported posts, and delete posts according to updates in the source data. This is useful for feeds and records that need regular synchronization rather than a single migration.
Connected workflows
WP All Import integrates with WP All Export, the companion export plugin. A workflow can export WordPress posts, WooCommerce products, orders, users, or other data, edit that information in Microsoft Excel, Numbers, or another application, and then re-import it to the same site or move it to another WordPress site. A separate WooCommerce add-on is available for XML and CSV WooCommerce imports.
Installation
Install WP All Import Pro on the WordPress website where the data will be imported. Select the XML, CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets source, follow the four-step process, and use the drag-and-drop interface to map fields. Configure custom fields, images, external access, recurring schedules, or custom PHP functions before running the import.
