Flexible post lists for WordPress
WP Show Posts Pro is a paid edition for displaying posts in selected locations across a WordPress website. It uses an easy-to-use shortcode and can pull content from any post type, including WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads. The plugin works with any theme, making it suitable for blogs, archives, resource sections, product content, and other post-based layouts.
Build each list from the WP Show Posts settings area, then place the generated shortcode in the page or post where the list should appear. This gives you a practical way to reuse configured post displays without creating each layout manually.
Pro display features
The Pro edition adds AJAX pagination, allowing visitors to request additional results without relying only on a standard paginated layout. It also supports masonry presentation and featured posts, helping you organize content for editorial pages, category-style sections, and visual post collections.
Visual settings let you adjust background colors, hover background colors, border colors, and border hover colors. For images, you can add an overlay color, choose an overlay icon, apply an image hover effect, and enable an image lightbox. A lightbox gallery option is also available when you want visitors to inspect images in a larger viewing format.
Content and metadata styling
WP Show Posts Pro provides additional control over the appearance of post content. You can configure the read more style and color, content link color and hover color, content text color, and title color with a separate hover color. These options help you adapt a post list to the visual language of the surrounding site.
Metadata styling includes a meta color and hover color. The underlying post list options also cover titles, excerpts or full post content, excerpt length, author information, dates, and terms. You can control whether these elements are included and determine their locations within the display.
Social and layout controls
The Pro feature set includes social options for Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest. Each listed service has color and hover-color controls. An additional alignment option helps position the available elements within the post presentation.
Beyond the Pro additions, list configuration includes post type, taxonomy terms, posts per page, columns, column gutter, image dimensions, image alignment, image location, pagination, ordering, status, offsets, sticky-post handling, and no-results messaging. You can also use author IDs, post IDs, and meta key or value settings to refine which content appears.
