Make image details easier to inspect
WP Image Zoom Pro is a paid image magnification plugin for WordPress. It can be used with images in posts and pages, as well as content connected to WooCommerce and SureCart products. The plugin gives visitors a closer view of image details through configurable zoom effects, making it useful for product photography, portfolios, featured images, and visual content that benefits from closer inspection.
Zoom can be applied through the WordPress editor or to images placed with supported page builders. The plugin also supports image galleries in the Pro edition, extending magnification beyond a single image element.
Choose a zoom presentation
WP Image Zoom Pro includes four zooming types: inner zoom, round lens, square lens, and outer zoom with a separate Zoom Window. You can adjust the zoom window position so it appears to the left or right of the image. The zoom window is responsive and fits the browser width, helping the magnified area adapt to different viewing spaces.
Mousewheel Zoom gives visitors another way to inspect an image. Animation easing makes the zoom lens follow the mouse with a delayed movement, while a fade effect controls how the enlarged area appears and disappears. Settings also cover the lens size, border color, border size, shadow, rounded corners, and other visual details.
Products, galleries, and other content
The plugin can be enabled for WooCommerce product images, including product variations. It also works with portfolio images, Easy Digital Downloads featured images, and MarketPress eCommerce content. Zoom can be used within lightboxes and carousels, and the plugin supports applying the effect to more than one image on the same page.
For page builder layouts, the source describes using the zoooom CSS class on an image. Builder guidance is provided for Gutenberg, WPBakery, SiteOrigin, Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, Avia, Fusion, Brizy, and Tatsu. The zoom is intended for Image elements; galleries may require the Pro edition for zooming across gallery images.
Practical setup considerations
For effective magnification, use an uploaded image larger than the version displayed on the site. The Pro edition provides zoom levels of 2x or 3x the presented image size. The plugin does not replace an existing product gallery. Some themes use their own carousel, gallery, or slider implementation, so the result can depend on how that gallery is built.
Installation and configuration
Install WP Image Zoom Pro in WordPress, then use its administration interface to select the zoom type and visual settings. Apply zoom through the editor, add the zoooom class to suitable page-builder images, or configure supported product and gallery content. Test the effect with your theme, lightbox, carousel, and image sizes before publishing.
