Advanced tools for LearnDash sites
Uncanny Toolkit Pro is the Pro version of Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash. It adds a continuously expanding set of features to help manage course access, learner progress, navigation, records, and administrative workflows. The plugin is intended for LearnDash sites that need more control over how learners move through courses and how site administrators manage users.
The plugin requires PHP 7.4 or higher and LearnDash 4.2 or higher. It is translation ready and multisite capable.
Course completion and learner progress
Pro includes tools for automatically completing lessons and topics. Completion can be triggered when users visit content, submit forms through Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, Gravity Forms, or WPForms, or reach the quiz results page with a passing mark. Global settings can be overridden for individual lessons and topics.
- Automatically complete lessons and topics and remove Mark Complete buttons.
- Move through quiz-based course steps without leaving learners stuck after a passing result.
- Create single-page courses with no associated lessons and move the Mark Complete button to the course level.
- Allow learners to reset all activity for a course so they can retake it.
Access control and course navigation
Restrict Page Access can limit any page according to logged-in or logged-out status, course enrollment, group membership, or user role. When access is denied, the site can display a message or automatically redirect the user. The Not Enrolled Redirect module can direct non-admin users to a specific URL, such as a course sales page.
Other navigation tools include breadcrumbs for courses, lessons, topics, and quizzes, an AJAX course navigation tree, login and logout links, login and logout redirects, and menu item visibility controls based on sign-in status. Learners can also use a resume button to return to the course, lesson, or topic they last visited.
Learner records and administration
The Learner Transcript module adds printable transcripts to the front end, giving learners a record of course progress and overall standing. Certificate tools can display certificates earned by a user, including course, quiz, and group certificates. User profiles can also show LearnDash Group memberships.
For administration and troubleshooting, User Switching lets authorized users switch between users. Hide Admin Bar can hide the WordPress Admin Bar according to user role. Disable Emails prevents WordPress and plugins using native WordPress email functions from sending messages while the module is active, which is useful on development and staging sites.
Timing and specialized workflows
Simple Course Timer tracks time spent in LearnDash courses, lessons, and topics and detects when a user is idle. Course completion time and total course time are added to LearnDash reports. The timer can also block quiz access until a minimum amount of course time has been reached.
Pro also supports automated completion after form submissions, printable learner records, access rules, course retakes, and specialized course structures. These capabilities can help site owners create more guided learning paths and reduce manual progress management.
Installation
Install Uncanny Toolkit Pro on a WordPress site that meets the PHP 7.4 or higher and LearnDash 4.2 or higher requirements. After activation, configure the available modules for the site’s course structure, learner roles, access rules, forms, and reporting needs. Individual features can then be applied through their module settings, shortcodes, widgets, or supported LearnDash workflows.
