More control over RSS feed display
Super RSS Reader Pro is a paid edition of Super RSS Reader for presenting RSS and Atom feeds in more flexible ways across a WordPress website. It extends the widget-based feed display with shortcode placement, additional layouts, filtering, custom content arrangements, and more feed presentation options.
Use it to show content from your own website, related websites, forums, event listings, job listings, deals, Craigslist, Google News RSS, or other RSS sources. The Pro edition is suited to websites that need to place feeds beyond a standard widget area or organize feed items into structured page layouts.
Pro features
- Shortcode display: Place an RSS feed display anywhere on your website with [srr_feed].

Build a focused feed experience
The plugin can display multiple feeds in a single widget using tabs, while the Pro shortcode gives you another way to place feed content within site pages. A merged feed can bring several sources together, and keyword filtering can help focus the displayed items on specific subjects.
Feed items can include titles, dates, authors, descriptions, and thumbnails. The wider plugin also supports different thumbnail positions, including left, right, and cover, as well as absolute or relative date formats. Titles and descriptions can be trimmed, and items can be ordered by date or randomly.
Presentation and customization
Choose a grid when you want a structured multi-column presentation, or use pagination when a feed contains more items than you want to show at once. Custom templates provide control over the order of feed item content and allow HTML to be added to the item structure.
Color themes are available out of the box, and the widget can also be customized with external CSS. The ticker effect is vertical and can be enabled or disabled, with a customizable ticker speed. RSS and Atom feeds are supported.
Installation and feed setup
Install Super RSS Reader Pro, then add the Super RSS Reader widget where you want the feed display to appear, or use the [srr_feed] shortcode for placement elsewhere on the website. Enter feed URLs separated by commas or on new lines when configuring multiple feeds in the widget. The plugin automatically renders multiple feeds as tabs in that setup.
WordPress caches RSS feeds by default for 12 hours. The source documentation notes that this cache duration can be changed with the wp_feed_cache_transient_lifetime filter, while lower refresh values may increase server load.
