Private, in-depth WordPress analytics
SlimStat Analytics Pro extends SlimStat Analytics with deeper tools for understanding visitors, content, and conversions. Analytics data is stored in your own WordPress database rather than sent to a third-party cloud, giving you a real-time view inside the site you manage.
Use the live access log to see visits as they happen, including the page viewed, approximate location, referral source, search term, response time, and whether the request appears to come from a human or bot. The complete access log keeps visits available in a searchable table that can be examined by date, country, browser, operating system, referrer, search term, or content type.
Pro tools for conversion analysis
Pro supports up to five conversion goals and three full funnels. Goals can measure actions such as a WooCommerce sale, signup, or important pageview, with unique conversions, total conversions, and conversion rates available for review. Funnels help identify the steps where visitors leave, with templates for WooCommerce checkout, signups, and content engagement.
Outbound link reporting shows which external links visitors follow. Audience reports include returning readers, logged-in users, country, language, browser, operating system, and screen size. The Pro User Overview adds individual visitor journeys, time on site, server response speed, and Gravatars. Extended Overview lets you add columns to the User Overview report and its export file.
Reports that fit your workflow
- Email reports: Schedule selected reports and receive the results as HTML tables, with columns arranged for your needs.
- Heatmaps: View where visitors click and where they do not, using a heatmap layer over live pages.
- Network analytics: Manage reports and settings across a WordPress multisite network from one place.
- MaxMind integration: Connect the MaxMind geolocation API for more detailed visitor location information.
- Customizable reports: Rearrange, add, or hide widgets across Real-Time, Overview, Audience, Site Analysis, and Traffic Sources.
- CSV exports: Download reports for further review.
Privacy and practical operation
SlimStat includes IP anonymization and one-way IP hashing, Do Not Track support, a translatable consent banner, WP Consent API integration, and scheduled data cleanup. The banner supports WPML and Polylang. A world map displays audience locations, while the admin bar provides quick access to online visitors, pageviews, and top pages.
For cached sites, SlimStat supports client-side tracking; server-side tracking can be used to capture every request. It works with W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, Cloudflare, and most caching plugins.
Installation
Install SlimStat Analytics in WordPress, then activate the Pro edition. Configure privacy options, reporting preferences, goals, funnels, and scheduled email reports from the plugin settings. For multisite installations, use the network analytics tools to manage reporting across the network.
