Structured data for WordPress and AMP
Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP Pro helps WordPress sites add Google Rich Snippets markup according to Schema.org guidelines. It is intended for structuring information about articles, products, businesses, events, reviews, recipes, videos, and many other types of content.
The Pro edition is also designed for AMP workflows. It supports AMP for WP and AMP by Automattic, making it suitable for sites that use either of those AMP plugins and want structured data alongside their AMP content.
Schema types and reusable templates
The plugin provides more than 35 schema types, including Blog Posting, News Article, Local Business, WebPage, Article, Recipe, Product, and VideoObject. Its supported list also includes Course, HowTo, QAPage, Review, Event, JobPosting, Service, Trip, SoftwareApplication, MobileApplication, Person, and several property and location types.
Schema Templates let you create a predefined set of schema markups and reuse it with the main schema types. This can make recurring structured-data setups easier to manage across similar content. The plugin also provides Schema Type Blocks in Gutenberg, allowing you to create content with blocks while JSON schema markup is added automatically.
Conditional fields and content control
Conditional Display Fields let you include or exclude posts, pages, post types, taxonomies, and more. This gives you a way to control where particular schema information is shown instead of applying identical data to every item on the site.
Knowledge Base Support helps recognize content based on an organization or a person through the data type option. Unlimited Custom Post Types provide additional control over how Rich Snippets data is represented in Google Search Console.
Reviews, integrations, and migration
The Review Module lets you create rating boxes with pros and cons and add their schema markup. The Pro features also include Google business reviews and their schema markup, with reviews fetched from more than 75 platforms.
The plugin can import data from other schema plugins, including SEO Pressor, WP SEO Schema, and Schema Plugin. It also provides schema support for integrations such as kk Star Ratings, WP-PostRatings, bbPress, Easy Liveblogs, wpForo, RealtyPress Premium, Discount Rules, WP Job Board Pro, and EventPrime.
Output and site features
Advanced settings include options for defragmenting output, adding markup in the footer, using Pretty Print, and cleaning up MicroData. The plugin supports JSON-LD format, archive page listings, breadcrumbs, comments and post comments, an easy-to-use setup wizard, and a minimal-settings approach.
Installation
Install the plugin in WordPress, activate it, and use the setup wizard to begin configuring structured data. Select suitable schema types, define templates or conditional fields, and review the output settings. If your site uses AMP for WP or AMP by Automattic, configure the corresponding compatibility options. Sites migrating from another schema plugin can use the available import feature before checking representative pages.
