WooCommerce payments through Pay.
Pay. Payment Methods for WooCommerce connects a WooCommerce webshop with Pay.’s omnichannel payment methods. The integration is designed for stores that want to let customers choose how to pay during checkout, while managing payments through one payment service provider.
The professional account is the paid account level described for this integration. A professional account is required when you want to use creditcards. Paid accounts also have better tariffs, according to the supplied product information. The plugin itself brings Pay.’s payment options into the WooCommerce checkout experience.
Payment methods for different customers
Customers can be offered a broad selection of payment options, depending on the methods enabled through Pay. The listed options include Dutch and European internet banking methods, card payments, digital wallets, vouchers, prepaid products, and payment options for physical locations.
- Internet banking: iDEAL, Bancontact, Giropay, EPS, Sofort, and other listed methods.
- Creditcards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- Buy now, pay later and instalments: iDEAL in3, Riverty – Achteraf betalen, Klarna, Billink, and SprayPay.
- Wallets: PayPal, Amazon Pay, WeChat Pay, AliPay, and Apple Pay.
- Vouchers and prepaid: Paysafecard, VVV Giftcard, Fashion Cheque, YourGift, and Givacard.
- Other payment options: bank transfers, telephone payments, and instore payments when you have a card terminal via Pay.
One payment connection
Pay. presents the service as an all-in-one payment provider with one contract, one integration, one payout, and one invoice. For a WooCommerce store, this can provide a single connection for accepting major payment methods rather than arranging separate integrations for every option.
The platform also includes matching modules for well-known accounting programs. Its synchronization module can automatically prepare a file in a desired format. These tools are intended to help organize payment information alongside the store’s payment workflow.
Payment visibility and service
Pay.’s platform provides real-time insight into payments, including access while on the go through the Pay. app. The supplied information also describes personal access to an account manager, technical support through chat, email, and telephone, and a 24/7 breakdown service.
For customer-facing stores, offering familiar methods such as iDEAL, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express can help customers select a preferred checkout option. The wider list also supports stores that want to combine online payments with selected retail or telephone payment processes.
