More control inside the WordPress block editor
Plover Kit Premium expands the WordPress block editor with additional layout controls, custom blocks, patterns, icons, animations, and responsive design options. It is designed for building professional WordPress pages directly with blocks, without shortcodes, custom PHP, or theme-file editing.
The plugin works specifically with the Gutenberg block editor. It may coexist with other page builders, but its features are available when editing with blocks. This makes it a practical choice for block-based themes and workflows that need more control than the standard editor settings provide.
Responsive layouts and visual styling
Plover Kit adds advanced controls to core blocks such as Cover, Columns, Query Pagination, and Buttons. Flexbox layout controls help arrange content in flexible layouts, while responsive settings support adjustments for different screen sizes.
Additional layout and positioning controls include relative, absolute, sticky, and fixed positioning, together with z-index, order, and display properties. Block sizing options cover height, width, and minimum and maximum dimensions. Shadow controls can add text-shadow, drop-shadow, and box-shadow effects to blocks. A sticky block option keeps selected elements visible while visitors scroll.
Button blocks can also use custom JavaScript event handlers for actions such as click, double-click, and hover. The core Code block can be enhanced with syntax highlighting, supporting clearer presentation of code-based content.
Custom blocks for content and navigation
The plugin includes custom blocks for common publishing and design tasks. Magazine Layout presents dynamic content in a magazine-style arrangement. Table of Contents generates a nested list from page headings, while Breadcrumb provides customizable navigation.
Counter Block can animate numbered counters for statistics and milestones. Reading Time Block displays an estimated reading time for articles. The Code Snippet Block, available as a premium module, inserts saved code snippets from a Code Snippets library anywhere on the page.
Icons, patterns, and effects
The integrated icon system provides access to more than 2,000 free icons and allows custom SVG uploads. Use the Icon Block as a standalone element, add icons to standard Button blocks with Icon Button, or organize custom SVG icons through the Icon Library. Inline Icon, a premium module, places icons inside text or headings.
A pattern library supports ready-made layout starting points. Visual effects include entrance animations, hover animations, and typing animations. These tools can add movement and emphasis while remaining within the block editor workflow.
Modular setup
Available modules can be enabled or disabled individually from Plover Kit → Modules in the WordPress admin. Turn on the features required for a project and turn off unused modules. The source describes this modular design as a way to avoid loading code for disabled modules.
Installation
Install and activate Plover Kit Premium in WordPress, then open the plugin’s Modules area and select the required modules. Return to the block editor to use the added controls, blocks, icons, patterns, and effects while creating or editing pages and posts.
