Create custom image and video galleries
Modula Pro is a WordPress gallery plugin for building responsive image galleries, masonry layouts, custom grids, and multimedia presentations without coding. Its drag-and-drop grid builder lets you resize and reposition images, helping you create layouts tailored to photography portfolios, design work, events, property listings, and other visual content.
Start by adding images, choose a gallery type, adjust the layout, and publish. You can use a custom grid to emphasize selected images or choose masonry for a dynamic arrangement of images with different dimensions. Gutter spacing and column settings help control the visual structure across screen sizes.
Paid tools for more interactive galleries
- Video galleries: Combine images with YouTube, Vimeo, and self-hosted videos. Video items can appear alongside photos and open in the lightbox viewer. YouTube and Vimeo video thumbnails are generated automatically.
- Lightbox slideshow: Present gallery images in a slideshow format for a more focused browsing experience.
- Slider gallery: Display images in a slider with options such as thumbnail strips, dots, arrows, fade effects, infinite loop, and center mode.
- Gallery Filters: Add filters so visitors can sort images by category or tag.
- Albums: Group multiple galleries into a single listing, such as separate galleries for different days of a trip or multiple property sections.
- Image proofing: Let customers choose photographs for editing through a proofing gallery and send their selections through the site.
- Image comments: Allow visitors to add comments to gallery images.
- Instagram: Connect an Instagram account and import Instagram images into a gallery.
Practical workflows
Photographers can build curated portfolios with custom grids, captions, lightbox slideshows, watermark protection, and right-click protection. Resize important images to guide attention and provide context with captions.
For real estate galleries, upload room photographs, exterior views, and neighborhood images. Filters can help visitors sort images by room type or property feature, while albums can organize separate property galleries. Modula also includes a dedicated BnB layout in the supplied product information.
Content Galleries can generate galleries from posts, pages, or custom post types. These galleries remain synchronized with their original content, so changes to the source are reflected in the gallery. Defaults let you define recurring gallery settings, and Bulk Edit lets you update multiple images at once.
