WordPress buttons with flexible Pro controls
MaxButtons Pro is a premium WordPress plugin for creating buttons, share buttons, and social icons without writing code. Its button editor includes a live preview, so you can adjust the appearance and immediately see how the result changes. Create an unlimited number of buttons, reuse existing designs, and place finished buttons throughout your site with shortcodes.
The editor supports responsive options, color pickers, CSS3 styling, text shadows, box shadows, gradients, and previews on different color backgrounds. Predefined defaults help you begin quickly, while built-in custom CSS provides per-button control when you need more detailed styling.

Share buttons and social icons
MaxButtons Pro supports social sharing and profile promotion. Share button sets cover networks and services including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+, StumbleUpon, Reddit, WhatsApp, and Buffer, with additional email and print icons. You can also select a social icon or create a button, add a profile link, and place it on a page using its shortcode.
Integrations and practical workflows
The plugin integrates with WPBakery Page Builder, Contact Form 7, Beaver Builder, Easy Digital Downloads, and popup builders that open modals. It also works with Gutenberg, Elementor, and SiteOrigin. Google Analytics event tracking for WordPress buttons helps you view user interactions in Google Analytics without coding.
Designers and developers can use button packs, free icons, and additional professionally designed button sets. The source describes a button library featuring more than 6,000 buttons. Consistent designs can be reused while changing text and URLs through shortcode parameters.
Installation and use
After installing and activating the plugin, open the MaxButtons page from the WordPress admin menu and choose Add New. Use the editor to configure the button, complete the required options, and select Save. MaxButtons then generates a shortcode such as [maxbutton id=”17″] or [maxbutton name=”My Button Name”].
Place the shortcode in your content to display the button. You can also pass text and URL parameters when several buttons should share the same design but use different labels and destinations.
