Passwordless WordPress authentication
Magic Login Pro is a paid edition for creating passwordless authentication workflows in WordPress. Instead of asking users to remember a password, the login process starts with an email address. The user receives a unique magic link in their inbox and clicks it to authenticate and log in.
This approach can simplify access for members, customers, commenters, and other WordPress users. It also removes the need to manage forgotten passwords, password resets, or password strength requirements within the login experience.
Expanded login options
Magic Login Pro adds more ways for users to receive or use login links. SMS Login can send magic login links by text message, while QR Code Login lets users authenticate by scanning a QR code. Registration can also be enabled directly from the login form or through a shortcode.
For sites using automated workflows, the plugin supports auto-login links in outgoing emails. This can help when a user needs to complete a pending action, such as replying to a comment or completing checkout.
Controls for access and protection
Pro features provide additional control over how login requests are created and used. Brute force protection can limit login attempts and temporarily block an IP address. Login request throttling can limit the generation of login links over a specified period.

WooCommerce integration supports a seamless magic login experience for returning customers during checkout. Easy Digital Downloads integration adds magic login support to its checkout experience, while FluentCRM can send magic login links directly through the CRM.
Developers and administrators can use the REST API to connect Magic Login with custom applications. WP-CLI commands support creating login links, generating QR codes, exporting and importing settings, and other administrative tasks. Plugin settings can also be exported, imported, or reset from the WordPress admin panel or WP-CLI.
Installation and setup
Install Magic Login Pro on the WordPress site where passwordless access is required, then configure the available login, registration, protection, redirect, and integration options. Add the login form or registration form to the relevant site workflow, and test the email, SMS, QR code, or connected service paths you plan to use.
