Import Eventbrite Events Pro for WordPress
Import Eventbrite Events Pro connects Eventbrite event content with your WordPress site. It is designed for websites that need to bring event information into WordPress, present live Eventbrite listings, or maintain imported events through scheduled synchronization.
The plugin can import event details such as the event title, description, images, start date, end date, venue, and organizer into the WordPress database. Imported events can be published automatically or saved as drafts, and each event import can be assigned to different WordPress categories.
Import and synchronization tools
Use the Eventbrite API to import events by Event ID. Pro also supports importing by Eventbrite organizer ID, collection ID, or from your Eventbrite account. Multiple event IDs can be processed at one time, making it practical for sites managing several events or recurring import tasks.
- Import individual events by Event ID.
- Import events by organizer or collection ID.
- Import events from your Eventbrite account.
- Import multiple event IDs in one operation.
- Choose automatic publishing or draft status for imported events.
- Review event import history logs showing when and which events were imported.
- Update existing events through synchronization.
Automatic import schedules can run hourly, twice a day, once a day, weekly, or monthly. Schedules can be edited later, allowing the import workflow to change as your event calendar develops. Advanced synchronization with an Eventbrite organizer profile is also included.
Live Eventbrite widgets
Instead of importing event data first, the Pro Eventbrite Widget can display live Eventbrite events directly on your site. The widget can show events by organizer ID, collection ID, or specific Eventbrite event IDs, and its source states that no API token, OAuth setup, or Eventbrite authorization is required for widget display.
Choose from grid, list, masonry, timeline, ticket, minimal grid, and compact list layouts. You can add a ticket button with either a popup checkout modal or a direct Eventbrite link. Date and time filtering, pagination, Load More, Infinite Scroll, smart caching with automatic refresh, and custom CSS per feed provide practical control over how each listing appears.
A visual shortcode builder helps generate widget shortcodes for pages, posts, and widget areas. The plugin also includes an Upcoming Events widget and an Upcoming Events Elementor Widget.
WordPress event plugin support
Imported Eventbrite events can be added to leading WordPress event management plugins, including The Events Calendar, Events Manager, Event Organiser, EventON, My Calendar, and EventPrime. The plugin also provides an in-built event management option, responsive event listings, event detail pages, an event registration widget on single event pages, and the [eventbrite_events] shortcode.
Installation and workflow
To install the Pro edition, remove the basic version if it is already installed. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New, choose Upload Plugin, upload the Pro ZIP file, and select Install Now. Locate Import Eventbrite Events Pro in the Plugins screen and activate it.
After activation, select an import source, configure the event or account details, choose whether to publish or draft imported content, and set a schedule when regular synchronization is needed. Use the widget or shortcode tools when you want to display live Eventbrite listings without importing them first.
