Build more expressive image galleries
Image Gallery Block Pro extends the Image Gallery Block for the WordPress block editor with advanced layouts, enhanced design controls, and interactive gallery experiences. It is designed for image collections that need more visual variety than a standard grid, including photography portfolios, product showcases, travel albums, and visual storytelling pages.
Galleries are created directly in Gutenberg without code. The block supports responsive presentation across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens, while the built-in lightbox lets visitors open images in a clean popup. The Pro edition adds layouts and controls that give you more ways to arrange, style, and present those images.
Advanced layouts for different projects
Choose from several Pro layouts to match the character of your content. Masonry creates an image arrangement with varied item heights, while Dynamic Motion adds movement to the gallery presentation. The 3D Parallax layout introduces depth-oriented visual treatment, and Hexagonal layouts provide an alternative geometric structure.
For a more interactive display, the plugin includes 3D Image Slider galleries with navigation controls. These sliders can suit featured collections, product presentations, or portfolio sections where visitors should move through images in a more guided way.
- Masonry layouts for varied image arrangements.
- Dynamic Motion layouts for animated presentation.
- 3D Parallax layouts for depth-focused displays.
- Hexagonal layouts for distinctive gallery structures.
- Interactive 3D Image Sliders with navigation controls.
Organize and refine gallery content
Drag-and-drop image sorting provides a practical way to reorder items after images have been added. This is useful when the sequence of a portfolio, album, product collection, or visual story matters. The gallery can also include images, titles, subtitles, and dates, with the base block providing controls for content management and responsive typography.
Pro adds custom overlay effects with adjustable colors, margins, and padding. These overlays can help define how information or visual treatments appear when visitors interact with gallery items.
Detailed card and container controls
Card design settings let you control borders, corner radius, widths, and the overall appearance of gallery cards. You can also fine-tune button and element positioning, including placement and alignment, so the controls fit the selected layout.
Global container controls provide additional settings for backgrounds, margins, and padding. Together with the block’s existing gradients, shadows, hover effects, typography, column, and spacing options, these controls support galleries with a more consistent visual system.
Practical ways to use it
- Present photography portfolios with Masonry, Polaroid, or advanced layouts.
- Create WooCommerce product galleries and visual collections.
- Share travel albums with dates, titles, and lightbox viewing.
- Showcase creative work with hover effects and 3D layouts.
- Combine images, titles, and subtitles on visual storytelling pages.
Installation and setup
Install Image Gallery Block Pro, open a page or post in the WordPress block editor, and add the Image Gallery block. Upload or select images from the Media Library, then add titles or subtitles and choose a Pro layout from the block settings. Sort the images by dragging them into position, configure overlays, cards, buttons, and the global container, preview the gallery on different devices, and publish the page when it is ready.
The block’s scripts load only on pages that use the block, and the plugin is translation ready for multilingual websites.
