HashBar Pro is a WordPress plugin for creating announcement bars, notification bars, and popup campaigns. It combines visual design controls, live preview, smart display conditions, scheduling, lead capture forms, analytics, and testing tools in one interface.
Use it to communicate promotions, product launches, shipping information, coupon messages, updates, or other calls to action. The plugin is designed to work across devices and provides options for both persistent bars and campaign-style popups.
Announcement bar tools
Create unlimited announcement bars with messages of up to 500 characters. Add multiple messages and rotate them automatically at intervals from five to 60 seconds. Each bar can include a customizable call-to-action button with its own text, URL, and target. When enabled, the default button text can be filled as “Shop Now.”
Bars can appear at the top or bottom of a website and can remain visible while visitors scroll through the page. Configure the stacking order with z-index controls, add a close button, and let Pro users add a reopen button so visitors can display a dismissed bar again.
Templates and visual design
HashBar includes 18 announcement bar templates covering styles such as classic, sale alert, free shipping, information, countdown sale, coupon display, minimal elegant, holiday special, and limited stock. Pro templates include trust builder, new launch, premium gold, summer vibes, social media, bundle deal, VIP exclusive, and early bird designs. Pro also includes specialized popup templates such as Flash Sale, Cyber Monday, and Split E-commerce.
Design controls support solid colors, gradients, background images, and custom CSS. Pro gradient backgrounds can use two colors with four directions, while image backgrounds support cover, contain, and auto display options. Typography controls include font family, weight, size, and text alignment. Adjust bar height from 40px to 200px and configure spacing for the presentation.
Popup campaigns and triggers
Create eight popup campaign types, including lead capture, announcements, promotions, and exit-intent campaigns. Use smart triggers such as exit intent, scroll depth, and time delay to determine when a campaign appears. Display conditions can target pages, devices, countries, and user behavior.
Popup and bar campaigns can use countdown timers in fixed, recurring, or evergreen formats. These options help present time-sensitive messages, promotions, and campaign deadlines.
Forms, testing, and analytics
Build lead capture forms with 11 field types. HashBar includes free Mailchimp integration for connecting form activity with that service. Live preview allows changes to be reviewed in real time before publishing.
Use A/B testing to compare multiple campaign variations. Comprehensive analytics track impressions, clicks, conversions, and click-through rate. This provides campaign data for reviewing how different messages and designs perform.
Display and cookie settings
Choose whether a bar appears on every page reload or only for the current browser session. Additional cookie duration options include one hour, six hours, one day, seven days, two weeks, one month, or a persistent dismissal. Configure close-button text and position, and control the bar’s stacking order when needed.
Installation
Install HashBar Pro in WordPress and activate it. Create an announcement bar or popup campaign, choose a template or design settings, configure its message, display conditions, triggers, and timing, then review it with live preview before publishing.
