Make the WooCommerce cart faster to access
FunnelKit Pro adds premium capabilities to FunnelKit Cart for WooCommerce. It provides a dynamic sliding cart that shoppers can open from a cart icon, review from anywhere on the site, and use to manage items before moving directly to checkout.
The side cart is designed to reduce the need for a separate cart-page visit. Shoppers can add or remove products, change quantities, view cart information, and continue to checkout through a streamlined buying flow. The cart can also encourage additional purchases with upsells, cross-sells, and milestone-based rewards.
Use a flexible side cart
A cart icon can appear at the bottom of the website and show the number of items in the cart. You can display it across the entire site, on selected WooCommerce pages, or omit it and place the cart in a header or through a cart shortcode. Clicking the icon opens the sliding cart.
- Let shoppers edit quantities directly in the mini cart.
- Allow items to be removed with one click.
- Skip the conventional WooCommerce cart page and direct shoppers to checkout.
- Choose whether the AJAX-based side cart is enabled.
- Update or add cart items automatically without refreshing when AJAX is enabled.
- Use regular refresh-based updates when AJAX is disabled.
Present upsells and cross-sells
FunnelKit Pro lets you pitch offers inside the side cart rather than interrupting the buyer journey with a separate pre-purchase upsell page. You can add default upsell products shown to all buyers, or show different offers based on the products already in a shopper’s cart.
Upsell products can include simple products, variable products, or subscriptions. Shoppers can add an offer to the cart with one click. You can change the appearance of upsell offers, edit their text, set the maximum number displayed, and choose whether offers appear inside the cart or beside it. Upsells and cross-sells can be managed from the same dashboard.
Encourage larger orders
The cart can display milestone-based rewards to motivate shoppers to buy more. Rewards may include discounts, gifts, and other incentives. This gives customers a visible reason to add products while they are already reviewing their cart.
Match the cart to your store
Built-in styling controls let you adjust the floating cart without a page builder. Customize headings, text, button colors, background colors, cart style, and icon style so the mini cart fits the store’s visual presentation.
Installation and setup
Install the FunnelKit Cart plugin as a WordPress plugin and activate it. To use the paid edition, upgrade to FunnelKit Pro; the source notes that the premium side-cart version is available to FunnelKit users on the Plus plan and above. After activation, open the dashboard to configure the cart icon, styling, AJAX behavior, checkout flow, rewards, and upsell or cross-sell offers.
