FooBar Pro is designed for communicating important messages quickly and visibly across a WordPress website. Use it to create announcement bars, calls to action, cookie notices, promotional messages, and other attention-focused notifications. The plugin supports unlimited notifications, giving you room to manage different campaigns, notices, and site updates from one administration area.

Notification types included with Pro
FooBar Pro adds four notification types to the Announcement, Call To Action, and Cookie Notice formats:
- Sign Up: Capture email addresses and add them to a Mailchimp list.
- Countdown: Display a countdown with a call-to-action button for time-sensitive promotions.
- Tweet: Present a message with a click-to-Tweet button.
- Free Shipping: Show shoppers a free-shipping message that integrates with your WooCommerce store settings.
Announcement bars can display a message with an optional link. Call To Action bars can include a message, button text, and destination URL. Cookie Notice bars can present a notice with an accept button, supporting communication related to EU GDPR cookie law and CCPA regulations.
Control appearance and placement
Pro provides expanded appearance controls for matching your website and campaign style. You can use gradient backgrounds, change font sizes, choose different icons, and apply custom CSS to the bar. Left and right positions are available, with up to 12 positions supported. Emoji support also lets you add visual emphasis to suitable messages.
Attention-grabbing effects can encourage visitors to notice a bar, open it, or interact with its buttons. Open and close triggers can respond to exit intent, time delays, scroll distance, and other configured conditions.
Schedule and target messages
Scheduling lets you choose when a notification begins and ends by selecting start and end dates and times. Visibility conditions help control where a notification appears. You can show a bar for a specific post type, on selected pages, or for certain categories. These controls are useful when a message applies only to a particular promotion, section, audience, or content group.
Notifications can be previewed in the WordPress administration area or on the frontend. The plugin also includes duplication from the admin listing page, which can simplify creating related bars with similar settings.

Installation and setup
Install the FooBar Pro plugin through the WordPress administration area, then activate it. Create a notification and select the required type. Add the message, link, button, or notice details, then configure its appearance, position, triggers, schedule, and visibility conditions. Preview the result in the admin area or on the frontend before publishing it. For custom presentation, add CSS through the available custom CSS setting.
