Build flexible floating navigation
Floating Button Pro is a WordPress tool for creating sticky, fixed, and floating button menus. It can support site navigation, an additional menu, a social panel, a user menu, a Skype menu, or other useful contact and navigation areas. Buttons can use thematic icons and can be placed as a persistent element on the page.
The Pro edition is intended for sites that need more control over how floating buttons are created and displayed. It includes the features of the button builder together with expanded rules for quantity, visibility, targeting, and menu behavior.
Create as many buttons as needed
With Pro, you can create an unlimited number of buttons. The available button types include Link, Email, Phone, Login, Logout, Register, and Lost password. This supports practical navigation and contact tasks, from linking visitors to a page to providing direct access to account-related actions.
The plugin includes more than 2,000 FontAwesome 7.1 icons and button shapes such as Circle, Rounded square, Ellipse, and Square. Advanced color settings can be applied to each button, including hover effects. Tooltips can provide additional information when a visitor points to a button.
Control visibility and page placement
Responsive visibility settings allow buttons to be hidden on mobile or desktop devices. Pro also lets you set display according to the user role and status, so the menu output can be adjusted for different types of visitors.
Language-based display rules can change the menu output depending on the language of the page. You can also use site categories, exceptions, and IDs to place the menu on individual pages. These controls are useful when different sections of a WordPress site require different navigation or contact choices.
Enhance menu interaction
Floating Button Pro can accompany a change in navigation behavior with a highlight when the mouse cursor hovers over an item. The built-in user menu, social panel, and print function provide ready-made elements for common site tasks.
For layouts that require more precise placement, shortcode support lets you place the button where needed. Export and Import functions are also available for moving button configurations between setups or preserving a menu arrangement for later use.
Installation and setup
Install Floating Button Pro on the WordPress site, then create a floating menu and add the required buttons. Choose icons, shapes, colors, tooltips, and button types. Configure responsive visibility, user role or status rules, language behavior, categories, exceptions, and page IDs as needed. Arrange the menu and use shortcode placement when the button should appear in a specific location.
