Build a more flexible WooCommerce checkout
Flexible Checkout Fields PRO is a checkout manager for the classic WooCommerce checkout form based on the shortcode. It lets you edit default billing and shipping fields, add custom fields, arrange their order, and adjust how information is collected during purchase.
The plugin is intended for stores that need more than the standard checkout structure. You can hide fields, change labels and placeholders, set fields as required or optional, enable validation, and define where fields appear on pages and in emails. CSS classes are also available for checkout layout and design adjustments.
PRO field types
In addition to the available basic field options, the PRO edition adds field types for more detailed checkout forms:
- Multi-checkbox
- Select and multi-select
- Radio fields
- Radio fields with images or colors
- Date and time fields
- File upload fields
- Hidden fields
These controls can be used to collect delivery preferences, additional order details, selections, dates, uploads, or other information relevant to a store’s purchasing process.
Conditional checkout logic
PRO supports conditional logic based on the user role and a selected date. For each field, you can choose whether to show it, hide it, make it required, or perform no action when the condition applies. Multiple conditions can be configured with OR relationships inside one or more AND condition groups.
This makes it possible to adapt the checkout to different customer roles or date-based requirements. For example, a field can be displayed for a particular user role or made required when a selected date condition is met.
Sections, pricing, and checkout control
After upgrading, you can manage custom sections of the WooCommerce checkout page. Additional PRO options include more checkout fields, conditional logic, pricing per field, and other checkout configuration choices. The plugin also supports features such as a VAT ID field, a phone validator, fixed pricing, and price per date as listed among its checkout customization options.
You can define the order of fields without custom coding, remove unnecessary inputs, and tailor labels and placeholders to match the store’s terminology. Display settings can determine whether information is shown on selected pages and in emails.
Classic checkout compatibility
This plugin is designed for the classic checkout form based on the WooCommerce shortcode. Stores using the block-based WooCommerce Checkout Blocks should use the dedicated Flexible Checkout Fields For Blocks plugin instead.
Installation and setup
Install the plugin from the WordPress backend by uploading it through the Plugins menu, then activate it. Open WooCommerce > Checkout Fields to access the settings and checkout sections. Select the section you want to customize, then manage, reorder, hide, show, or add fields. Use the PRO controls for custom sections, advanced field types, conditions, pricing, and additional checkout options.
Support
The PRO edition includes priority e-mail support. Documentation is available for configuration guidance and checkout field setup.
