Turn WordPress content into portable HTML
Export WordPress Pages to Static HTML Pro is built for creating standalone static HTML packages from WordPress content. It can export pages, posts, and custom post types into organized files that can be shared with developers, delivered to clients, archived, or hosted without a WordPress installation.
The Pro edition removes the free version’s limit of five posts or pages per run and adds broader export scopes. You can export all pages, all posts, a complete WordPress site, or an external site URL, depending on the package you need to create.
Flexible export scopes
For more targeted work, the plugin supports selective exports. Choose one item, hand-pick pages or posts, or select specific custom post types. Pro also supports bulk exports and full-site conversion, including URL discovery and crawling. External Site Export can mirror an external URL into a clean static package.
Exports can include Published, Draft, Private, Pending, or Scheduled content. You can also render pages as viewed by a specific WordPress user role, which is useful when preparing membership or gated-content previews. Rendered front-end HTML preserves layouts from Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks, and Gutenberg.
Assets, previews, and deployment
- Organize exported resources into /images, /css, and /js directories.
- Choose Strict, Hybrid, or Full asset discovery modes.
- Flatten parent URLs so selected parent posts can be saved as root-level postname.html files.
- Browse generated static files inside WordPress before downloading them as a ZIP archive.
- Upload completed exports directly through FTP or SFTP.
- Deploy exports directly to AWS S3 buckets with Pro.
Background export jobs include pause, resume, cancel, and retry controls. Failed URLs are tracked with error messages and retry counts, allowing you to use the re-run failed action instead of restarting the entire export. Export files are written to a separate directory so the live site remains unchanged during the process.
Diagnostics and workflow tools
Before exporting, System Status diagnostics check areas such as the PHP version, permissions, and REST API. These checks help identify environment issues that could affect the export. Export buttons can also be added to posts or pages with shortcodes, including [export_html_button], which displays an export button to allowed roles.
A typical workflow is to open Tools → Export WP Pages to Static HTML, choose the export scope, select content and optional status or role settings, and choose an asset mode. Start the export, review the generated result, then download the ZIP or upload the files to a remote destination.
Installation and first export
Install the Pro plugin on the WordPress site containing the content you want to convert. Open its export tools, review the system diagnostics, select the required scope, and configure the content, status, role, and asset settings. After the job finishes, preview the files, download the package, or deploy it through FTP, SFTP, or AWS S3.
