Create more controlled post carousels in Divi
Divi Post Carousel Pro extends the Divi Post Carousel module for the Divi Builder. After activation, the Post Carousel module is added to the Divi Builder module list, allowing dynamic post carousels to be placed throughout a website.
The Pro edition builds on the carousel’s existing display and animation controls with additional options for post selection, content length, ordering, dates, images, overlays, and post metadata. It is intended for Divi users who want more control over how posts are selected and presented in a carousel.
Control which posts appear
Pro users can fine-tune the Post Offset to display posts from a specific position. This can help adjust the starting point of the content shown in a carousel. The module also provides an Order option with ascending and descending choices.
The Order by option supports sorting by random order, comment count, and other available criteria. A preferred date format can also be defined, giving the displayed post information a consistent format within the carousel.

Adjust displayed content
Divi Post Carousel Pro lets you adjust the excerpt length to control how much post content is shown. You can also edit the button text, making the carousel’s call-to-action wording fit the surrounding page content.
The module can toggle the featured image, title, excerpt, button, and other post meta fields. These controls allow a carousel to show a compact combination of post information or provide a fuller preview before visitors open an individual post.
Style images and overlay content
Several Pro styling options focus on the relationship between post images and carousel content. Separate styling controls are available for left image display and right image display. Additional options include Overlay Content style, Hover Content style, Overlay Box style, and Overlap Content style.
These settings support different visual arrangements inside the Divi module, including content displayed over an image, content revealed on hover, boxed overlay treatments, and overlapping content layouts. The exact combination can be adjusted according to the page design.
Use the module with Divi
The underlying plugin supports the Divi Visual Builder and includes controls for categories, autoplay, hover behavior, slide animation, arrows, dots, the number of displayed posts, scroll amounts, and responsive slide counts for desktop, tablet, and mobile. Pro adds the advanced content, ordering, and styling controls described above.
Installation
Download the plugin ZIP file, log in to the WordPress admin dashboard, open Plugins, and select Add New. Choose Upload Plugin, select the downloaded ZIP file, and click Install Now. After installation, activate the Divi Post Carousel plugin. Open the Divi Builder, select the Post Carousel module, and configure its Pro options for the desired page.
