Organize detailed WooCommerce product information
Custom Product Tabs Pro extends WooCommerce by adding custom tabs to individual product pages. These tabs appear beside the standard Description tab, giving shop owners a practical way to present additional product information without placing everything in one long description.
Use tabs for specifications, care instructions, delivery details, technical information, sizing guidance, or other content that helps customers understand a product. Each tab is managed from the WooCommerce Edit Product screen, so product-specific information can be added directly while editing the item.
Create tabs for individual products
The custom tab manager is available in the Custom Tabs section at the bottom left of the Product Data box. From there, tabs can be added, deleted, and rearranged with the available move controls. This makes it possible to place the most useful information in a clear order for each product.
Tab content uses the standard WordPress text editor. A content area may contain text, images, HTML, or shortcodes, allowing you to combine written explanations with visual material and supported WordPress content elements.
Reuse shared information with saved tabs
Saved tabs are designed for information that applies to multiple products. Create a saved tab from the Custom Product Tabs item in the WordPress dashboard, then add it to products from the custom tabs section on the product edit screen.
When a saved tab is updated, the changes are applied to the products using that tab. This provides a convenient way to maintain shared content such as common warranty information, general instructions, or repeated product details without editing every product separately.
If one product needs different wording, you can use the Override Saved Tab option. After the saved tab is overridden and edited for that product, later edits made to the saved tab under the dashboard menu do not apply to that product. The shared version remains available for the other products that use it.
Work with WooCommerce product data
Custom tab data is included when standard WooCommerce product data is exported. This supports moving products between sites while retaining the associated custom tab information.

Installation and first steps
- Install and activate Custom Product Tabs Pro in WordPress alongside WooCommerce.
- Edit a WooCommerce product and open Custom Tabs in the Product Data box.
- Add a product-specific tab, enter content in the WordPress editor, and arrange the tab order.
- For reusable content, create a saved tab from the WordPress dashboard and add it to selected products.
Once saved, the custom tabs appear on the relevant product pages beside the default Description tab.
