Advanced WooCommerce checkout customization
Checkout Field Editor Pro extends WooCommerce checkout customization with detailed control over fields, sections, validation, display rules, and address presentation. It is designed for store owners who need to collect information beyond the default checkout setup while keeping the checkout flow organized for customers.
The paid edition supports both classic checkout and WooCommerce Checkout Blocks. In block checkout, supported field types include Text, Select, Radio, Checkbox, Email, URL, Paragraph, Heading, and Date Picker. Classic checkout can use additional premium field types, including File Upload, Time Picker, Date Picker, and Label.
Organize fields and sections
You can add, edit, enable, disable, remove, and rearrange checkout fields. The drag-and-drop interface helps you place information in a practical order for your business workflow. Field labels and checkout presentation can be adjusted to suit the information you need to collect.
Custom sections can be positioned in 14 locations throughout the checkout page, including before or after customer details, billing, shipping, registration, order notes, terms and conditions, and the submit button. When used with the WooCommerce Multistep Checkout plugin, custom sections can also be placed inside a custom step.
Conditional fields and validation
Conditional display rules let you show or hide fields and sections according to the contents of the order or the customer’s selections. Available conditions include cart contents, cart subtotal, cart total, user roles, products, product variations, product categories, other field values, shipping methods, and payment methods.
Checkout fields can be validated before order submission. Alongside standard validation options, the paid edition allows custom validation based on percentage subtotal excluding tax. Validation options can help check numerical values, email formatting, phone numbers, state and postcode details, and URLs.
Pricing and address display options
Price fields support a variety of price types, including dynamic pricing based on a unit price and the number of units selected. This can be useful when checkout information represents a quantity-based option or service.
You can also personalize the address format shown on the My Account page, Thank You page, and transactional emails. Custom fields created with the plugin can be included in these address formats through the override feature.
Multilingual and developer-friendly workflows
WPML compatibility allows checkout field labels and text to be translated for multilingual stores. Custom hooks make the fields available to developers who need to extend their functionality or connect them with other customizations. The plugin also supports compatibility with third-party plugins for extended functionality.
Repeat rules for custom fields and sections can be set according to product quantity and cart count in classic checkout. This can help stores collect repeated information where the order structure requires it.
Installation
Install the paid edition through the WordPress plugin installation process and activate it. Then configure checkout fields, sections, rules, validation, and display settings according to your store’s checkout workflow.
