Catalog and enquiry tools for WooCommerce
CatalogX PRO helps transform a WooCommerce store into a product catalog with enquiry and quotation functionality. It is designed for businesses that do not want every customer journey to begin with a standard purchase, including B2B, wholesale, private, members-only, and lead-generation-focused stores.
The plugin can display products without prices, remove the Add to Cart button, and replace it with a custom button or an enquiry and request-a-quote option. These controls let a store present its products while directing customers toward a conversation about pricing, quantities, specifications, or purchasing requirements.
Flexible catalog and sales modes
CatalogX PRO can enable catalog mode for an entire site or for selected products. It also supports using catalog and sales modes simultaneously, allowing customers to send an enquiry before deciding whether to purchase. Administrators can control price visibility, hide prices, show them, or replace them with messages such as “contact vendor” or “coming soon.”
Catalog settings can be applied according to login status and user roles. This makes it possible to create different catalog experiences for selected users, including authors and vendors. A private store can hide prices and the Add to Cart button until users log in.
Enquiries, quotes, and product variations
Customers can enquire about individual products or use the Enquiry Cart to collect multiple products before sending a request. This is useful for bulk orders and purchasing journeys that involve several items. The PRO enquiry cart gives customers a way to submit multiple product interests together rather than creating a separate request for each product.
Variable product support allows enquiries for specific variations. Businesses can therefore collect requests connected to the particular option a customer is considering. The plugin also supports vendor-specific quote handling and MultiVendorX compatibility for stores that need to work with multiple vendors.
Forms and query management
CatalogX PRO provides customizable enquiry forms, allowing administrators to add fields as needed instead of relying only on predefined questions. Query emails can also be managed and customized with templates. The system can send queries to customers and vendors automatically.
Its integrated query management system stores queries and responses for future evaluation. Administrators have an Enquiry List page where submissions can be viewed, sorted, and managed by customer, product, or enquiry number. WooCommerce shortcodes are also included for placing supported functionality where needed.
Installation and practical setup
Install CatalogX PRO on the WordPress site running WooCommerce, then configure the catalog, price visibility, button, and enquiry settings for the store. Choose whether catalog mode applies site-wide or to specific products, define any role-based access rules, and customize the enquiry form and email templates.
For a wholesale catalog, hide purchase options and prices while presenting enquiry buttons. For a hybrid store, keep Add to Cart available alongside Send Enquiry. For vendor-led stores, configure vendor-specific quote handling and use the enquiry list to organize incoming requests.
