Update WooCommerce prices in bulk
Bulk Price Update for Woocommerce Premium is designed for shop owners who need to change product prices without opening and editing every product individually. It provides a focused workflow for updating regular prices and selling prices across WooCommerce products, helping you handle catalogue-wide or targeted pricing tasks from a user-friendly dashboard.
The plugin supports price changes based on a percentage or a fixed amount. You can choose whether prices should increase or decrease, select product categories from a dropdown, and round the resulting prices. These options are useful when applying a consistent pricing rule to a group of products or preparing a new set of prices for a store catalogue.
Premium pricing controls
The Premium edition adds support for variable products, allowing bulk price changes to include products with variations. It also provides the option to update prices by a fixed amount or price, rather than relying only on percentage calculations. This gives store owners a choice between proportional adjustments and a specific monetary change.
Premium also allows updates for specific products. Instead of applying a rule to an entire category, you can focus the operation on selected items that need a particular price correction or adjustment. This can be useful when only part of a catalogue is changing, or when individual products require a different treatment from the rest of their category.
Review changes with a dry run
Before making changes to the database, use the Dry Run option to check the expected results. A dry run makes no changes to the database, allowing you to review the proposed update before applying it. This provides a practical checking step for percentage changes, fixed-amount adjustments, selected categories, variable products, or specific product updates.
A typical workflow begins by choosing the products or categories to update. Next, select whether the change should increase or decrease prices, enter a percentage or fixed amount, and choose the rounding option where needed. When the proposed values need review, run the operation in Dry Run mode. After checking the results, perform the price update through the dashboard.
Practical store uses
- Apply a percentage increase across products in selected categories.
- Reduce prices by a chosen percentage for a promotional adjustment.
- Change regular and selling prices together for applicable products.
- Update variable products and their pricing workflow.
- Apply a fixed amount to specific products.
- Review proposed changes before writing them to the database.
