YouTube Showcase Pro is a paid edition for turning YouTube content into a structured video area on a WordPress website. It supports galleries, playlists, and video grids for creators, bloggers, marketers, and other site owners who want visitors to browse videos in a clear, responsive layout.
You can add videos through the WordPress dashboard using the 11-character YouTube Video ID from each video URL. The plugin then uses that ID to fetch the video content. Pro also adds automatic synchronization for entire YouTube channels or playlists, reducing the need to enter videos manually.
Design galleries with your preferred workflow
The Visual Block lets you create galleries and playlists directly in the Block Editor. A real-time sidebar preview shows changes as you work, so you can adjust settings without saving and refreshing the page. If your website uses a classic editing workflow, shortcode support is also available.
Built-in presentation options include cinematic playlists with a large featured player and thumbnail navigation, as well as responsive video grids. The Pro edition adds masonry, Coverflow, and other grid layouts for different ways to organize your content. Layouts adjust for mobile and tablet screens, while playlist navigation switches to an icon-based system on mobile.

With Pro, videos can open in a lightbox popup so visitors can watch without leaving the current page. Frontend filtering and search can help visitors find videos by category or tag. You can also add custom text for each video: full content appears on the single video page, while an excerpt can appear below the main video in a gallery view.
The plugin supports thumbnail settings in 16:9 or 4:3 formats, letting you match the presentation to your site design. Video URL slugs can also be adjusted for your own branding. Automated video pages provide an individual page for each video, with WordPress comments enabled.

Installation and setup
After adding the plugin to WordPress, open the Video menu in the dashboard and enter YouTube video IDs, or configure automatic synchronization for a channel or playlist. Use the YouTube Showcase block to design a gallery with a live preview, or insert a shortcode when that better fits your site. The Optional Setup Assistant can create a ready-to-use gallery page and a four-column responsive grid page. From there, select the desired layout, thumbnail ratio, categories, text, and Pro display options before publishing.
