Recipe publishing with more participation
WP Delicious Pro is a paid edition of WP Delicious for WordPress recipe websites. It adds tools for collecting recipes from readers, reviewing recipe activity, promoting equipment, and making recipe pages more interactive. The plugin works with the recipe features provided by WP Delicious, including recipe cards, image and video galleries, nutrition charts, detailed instructions, printable recipe options, advanced search, recipe indexes, archive layouts, favorites, ratings, and a user dashboard.
It is suited to food bloggers, recipe publishers, and site owners who want to build a more participatory recipe library while giving visitors practical ways to read, rate, and engage with published content.
Paid capabilities
Front-end recipe submission
WP Delicious Pro enables readers to submit recipes from the front end of your website. This can support community recipe collections or allow contributors to send content without working directly in the WordPress Dashboard. Submitted recipes can be part of a workflow that includes published, pending, and submitted recipe activity.
Analytics Dashboard
The Analytics Dashboard helps you review statistics for published, pending, and submitted recipes. The available information includes total likes and ratings, giving you a way to compare engagement across recipe content.
Equipment promotion on recipe cards
Pro lets you list the equipment used to create a recipe on its recipe card. You can also add affiliate links to those products. This provides a dedicated place to show readers the tools associated with a recipe and promote affiliate products through the recipe content.
Floating Recipe Bar
The Floating Recipe Bar adds a sticky bar to recipe posts. It includes focused reading mode, a timer, and social sharing, helping readers access selected recipe actions while viewing the post.
Advanced rating system
Readers can rate recipes and ask questions through the advanced rating system. They can also upload images while leaving a rating, allowing feedback to include visual responses as well as written participation.
Everyday workflow
Create and manage recipes from the WordPress Dashboard, then present them through clean recipe cards, recipe archive layouts, widgets, and a Recipe Index page. Use front-end submissions when you want readers to contribute, review likes and ratings in the Analytics Dashboard, and add equipment details or affiliate links to relevant recipe cards. On individual recipe posts, the floating bar keeps focused reading, timing, and sharing tools available.
WP Delicious also uses Google Structured Data and supports schema, while Pinterest Rich Pins support helps recipe information appear as Rich Recipe Pins. Its advanced search and user dashboard give visitors additional ways to browse, save favorites, and interact with your recipes.
Installation
Install and activate WP Delicious Pro alongside WP Delicious, then review the available settings and recipe workflow. The plugin provides an onboarding walkthrough after activation to help customize essential settings. Create a recipe, configure its card information, and enable the Pro features that match your publishing and reader-engagement needs.
