Run WooCommerce sales from the register
WCPOS Pro extends WooCommerce with a point-of-sale workspace for taking orders at a counter, on the road, or over the phone. It uses the same WooCommerce catalog, stock, and prices, helping connect in-person sales with the store’s existing data.
The POS can be opened in a browser or used through native desktop applications for Windows and macOS. iOS and Android applications are also available in beta. Product browsing and cart building can continue during a connection drop because products are stored locally. Payment still requires a connection.
Pro tools for daily operations
Manage stock, orders, and customers
Use the register to adjust stock levels and pricing, rather than opening the WordPress administration area for every change. Pro also lets you reopen older orders and print their receipts, create new customers, and edit customer details from the POS.
Accept payments and apply discounts
WCPOS Pro supports in-person card payments through Stripe Terminal and SumUp readers. It can also check out using WooCommerce payment gateways, including Stripe, PayPal, Square, and Mollie. Coupons can be applied at the POS with coupon search, coupon pills, and sequential discounts.
For completed POS orders, refunds can be processed directly from the till. This keeps common sales adjustments within the same operational workspace.
Support multiple store locations
The Stores feature allows locations to be managed with unique tax settings, pricing, and receipt configurations. This is useful when different locations need their own selling details while remaining connected to the WooCommerce store.
Review the end of the day
End-of-day reports summarise daily sales, transactions, and cash flow. These summaries can support reconciliation after a selling period and provide a focused view of activity completed through the register.
Hardware and receipt workflow
WCPOS works with standard barcode scanners and 58mm or 80mm thermal receipt printers connected over network, Bluetooth, or USB. Receipt templates include receipts, invoices, quotes, packing slips, gift receipts, and kitchen tickets. You can choose from the built-in gallery or design your own template.
The POS also includes a field for customer tax numbers such as VAT, ABN, and GST. The interface is available in most major languages, and built-in live chat support is available. Pro users also receive priority Discord support through private chat.
Installation and requirements
Install WCPOS on a WordPress site that uses WooCommerce, then open the POS from a supported browser or application. The supplied requirements are WordPress 5.6 or newer, WooCommerce 5.3 or newer, and PHP 7.4 or newer. After installation, the WooCommerce catalog is available for product search and cart building.
For offline use, products can be browsed and carts can be built during a connection drop, with changes syncing after reconnection. Taking payment remains an online step, so confirm connectivity before completing a card or gateway transaction.
