ShareMyPost PRO for WordPress
ShareMyPost PRO extends the ShareMyPost social sharing plugin with additional ways to present, customize, and measure sharing actions across your WordPress content. It is designed for sites that want more than inline buttons above or below a post, with tools for persistent sharing, campaign tracking, analytics, custom networks, and styled calls to action.
The plugin supports sharing across more than 20 built-in networks, including Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp, Telegram, Reddit, Mastodon, Bluesky, Threads, Email, and Print. SVG icons provide scalable visuals, while display controls let you show icons, labels, or both. You can also use original brand colors or apply a custom color across your buttons.
Advanced sharing formats
Use the Floating Share Bar to keep a sticky sharing panel visible as visitors scroll. The bar can be positioned on the left or right side of the page. For a more compact presentation, the Universal Share Button opens a modal containing the available sharing options from one control.
ShareMyPost PRO also includes a Click to Tweet / X shortcode for adding styled quote boxes within your content. The shortcode is [sharemypost_click_to_x], and its available options include call-to-action text, position, theme, accent color, URL and username removal, and hashtag visibility. You can use these quote boxes to place focused sharing prompts alongside articles or other content.
Tracking and custom networks
UTM Tracking automatically adds UTM parameters to shared URLs. Dynamic placeholders can use the site name, post title, and network, helping you distinguish sharing activity in campaign reporting. Google Analytics 4 integration sends share events using your Measurement ID.
When the built-in network list does not cover a destination, Custom Sharing Networks let you add a network with its own SVG icon, brand color, and share URL. AI-Powered Networks provide sharing options for ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google, Perplexity, and Grok through [sharemypost_ai_networks].
Design and display controls
Adjust the appearance of share bars with six button shapes: square, rounded, pill, circle, ribbon, and drop. Five styles are available: filled, outline, minimal, dashed, and glass. You can fine-tune button size and spacing, then add custom call-to-action text below share bars.
Share bars can be assigned to posts, pages, or custom post types. Mobile visibility can be enabled or disabled, and networks can be reordered by dragging cards in the settings area. These controls help match sharing elements to different content types and screen sizes.
Installation and setup
Install ShareMyPost PRO in WordPress, then open its settings in the WordPress admin dashboard. Choose the post types and mobile visibility rules, arrange networks, select button designs, and configure any floating bar, universal button, tracking, analytics, shortcode, or custom-network options required for your site.
Sharing uses public share endpoints for supported social networks through client-side redirects. Visitors complete the sharing action directly on the selected social platform, so each network’s privacy policy applies to that interaction.
