Organize content with responsive tabs
Responsive Tabs Pro is a WordPress plugin for creating tabbed content and displaying it where needed with a simple shortcode. It adds a Tabs section to the administration area, where you can build separate tabs, add content, choose colors, and change the order at any time.
The plugin is useful when several related pieces of information need to share one area of a page. You can use tabs for text-based sections, image content, or other material supported by the content field. The result is a structured presentation that keeps related information together instead of placing every section in a long uninterrupted layout.
What the Pro version adds
Responsive Tabs Pro extends the available tab controls with new styling settings and icons from Font Awesome. These additions provide more ways to adjust the appearance of tabbed sections and give each tab a visual icon when that suits the page design.
The core tab workflow remains straightforward. Create your tabs in the admin panel, enter a title and content for each one, select a color, and reorder the tabs whenever your content structure changes. Once the tab set is ready, place it on your website using its shortcode.
Responsive behavior
A breakpoint setting lets you decide when the tabs should shrink into an accordion. This gives you control over the point at which the horizontal tab layout changes for smaller display areas. It is useful for keeping tabbed content practical across different screen sizes without requiring separate content versions.
Content and translation
Each tab provides fields for a title and content. The content field can contain text, images, or anything else supported by the plugin’s content area. This makes the same tab structure suitable for product information, service details, frequently grouped explanations, image-led sections, or other organized material.
Responsive Tabs Pro includes fully translatable POT files in the /lang/ directory. This supports translation work for websites that need the plugin’s text available in another language.
Practical workflow
Start by adding your tabbed content in the plugin’s Tabs section. Give each tab a clear title, insert its text or images, choose a color, and arrange the tabs in the order visitors should see them. Configure the breakpoint according to the desired responsive behavior, then use the generated shortcode wherever the tab set belongs.
Getting started
To use Responsive Tabs Pro, add it to your WordPress site and open its Tabs section in the administration area. Create a tab set, configure its content and appearance, and publish it with the shortcode. The plugin’s documentation provides further usage information, while help is available through the plugin’s support platform.
