Interactive PDF publishing for WordPress
Real3D Flipbook PRO presents PDFs and image sets as responsive, interactive flipbooks inside WordPress. It is designed for magazines, catalogs, brochures, menus, portfolios, property listings, annual reports, newsletters, ebooks, and product manuals. Files remain on your own server, with no conversion service, account, or per-book fee required for the flipbook workflow described here.
Create a flipbook by uploading a PDF or a set of images, selecting a viewer mode, and placing it on a page or post with a shortcode or the Real3D Flipbook Gutenberg block. Existing flipbooks and settings carry over when upgrading to PRO.
PRO capabilities
- 4K resolution zoom: Keep pages sharp when readers zoom into fine print, detailed artwork, and other content.
- Optimized page loading: Multi-tier page textures use an appropriate size for the device and zoom level to support faster loading.
- PDF hyperlinks: Preserve links contained in the original PDF so readers can use them inside the flipbook.
- Text search and selection: Let readers search and select the full text of every page.
- Toolbar and interface customization: Choose from seven layouts and three skins, then adjust colors, icons, and buttons.
- Google Analytics and deep linking: Track flipbook events and link directly to a specific page.
- Mobile and global settings: Configure different behavior for phones and establish shared defaults for flipbooks.
Flexible viewing and presentation
The realistic 3D page-turning effect uses page bending and shadows to create a lifelike reading experience. PRO also supports other viewing approaches, including scroll, slide, simple PDF, CSS 3D, and CSS 2D modes. Choose lightbox, normal, or fullscreen display, and adjust toolbar, background, colors, and related controls to suit the surrounding site.
The responsive interface supports desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Readers can swipe on phones, tap to zoom, and open content inline or in a lightbox. PDF links can also be opened automatically as flipbooks, while thumbnails and flipbook posts can be generated from PDFs.
Practical workflows
Use PRO to publish a product catalog with clickable destinations, a searchable annual report, a mobile-friendly restaurant menu, or a portfolio that benefits from high-resolution artwork. Social sharing, categories, JSON import and export, and embedded placement help organize and distribute multiple flipbooks.
Installation
Install and activate the WordPress plugin, then go to Real3D Flipbook and choose Add New. Select a PDF or images, configure the viewer and PRO settings, and publish the flipbook. Add it to a page or post with the Gutenberg block or shortcode. The Page Editor, WooCommerce, and PDF Tools add-ons are available separately; the Page Editor add-on requires PRO.
