Responsive content carousels for Elementor
Post Carousel Slider for Elementor Pro is a multi-purpose post showcase plugin for presenting WordPress content in a sliding carousel. It can display regular posts, pages, custom post types, and WooCommerce products, making it useful for blogs, news sections, product areas, portfolio content, and other archive-style layouts.
The plugin is designed for use with Elementor and supports Elementor Pro Loop Builder templates. You can create your own content template and use it within a carousel, giving each project, product, or post a presentation that matches the rest of the website.
Choose and organize the content
Content selection controls help you decide exactly what appears in each carousel. Choose from any available post type, including custom post types, and filter content through custom taxonomies related to the selected type. You can also include specific items by searching the chosen post type or exclude selected items in the same way.
- Ignore sticky posts when needed.
- Limit the number of displayed items.
- Order content by publish date, ID, title, slug, menu order, modified date, number of comments, or randomly.
- Set ascending or descending order.
- Use unique settings for every carousel.
These controls are useful when a page needs more than a general latest-posts list. For example, a store can show selected WooCommerce products, while an editorial site can create separate carousels for specific taxonomies or post types.
Build flexible slider layouts
Pro controls let you decide how the carousel behaves and how much content appears at once. Set the number of slides per view and the number of slides to scroll. Multiple slideshows can be placed on one page, and the plugin supports unlimited sliders on one page. Multiple-row layouts are also available, with controls for rows per view.
For responsive presentations, the breakpoint builder provides slider options for different screen sizes. You can configure autoplay, change autoplay speed, adjust slide speed, and pause the slider when the pointer moves over it. Navigation dots and arrows can be shown or hidden, while custom arrow icons can be selected from Font Awesome or supplied as SVG icons.
Control templates and appearance
Use two template types and choose which content elements appear in each item. The title, excerpt, Read More button, images, dots, and navigation arrows can be shown or hidden. Word limits and character limits help keep cards consistent, especially when excerpts vary in length.
Style settings cover colors, hover states, backgrounds, spacing between items, and other visual details. The Read More text can be changed, and custom CSS is available for additional adjustments. Pro also includes custom JavaScript ability for sites that need further carousel behavior or integration work.
Installation and setup
Install the plugin in WordPress, then add its Elementor carousel element to the desired page. Select the post type, choose filters and ordering rules, configure the template and visible fields, and adjust responsive slider settings. Preview the result across screen sizes before publishing.
With its content controls, Elementor Pro Loop Builder support, responsive options, and per-carousel settings, Post Carousel Slider for Elementor Pro provides a practical way to turn WordPress content into configurable sliding showcases.
