Create flexible WordPress tables without code
Ninja Tables Premium and Ninja Tables Pro are paid editions of the Ninja Tables – Easy Data Table Builder plugin. They are designed for creating, customizing, and embedding interactive tables in WordPress without writing code. Tables can be added to website content with a shortcode and used for many types of information, including products, comparisons, pricing, academic data, sports standings, posts, employee statistics, reviews, specifications, media galleries, and movie information.
The plugin supports unlimited data in both Advanced and Simple modes, allowing you to continue adding rows, cells, and other table elements as your content grows. Drag-and-drop table building, responsive layouts, searchable tables, predefined color schemes, custom colors, charts, graphs, and table templates help organize information and present it in a useful format.
Advanced paid capabilities
The Premium and Pro editions add tools for connecting tables to external or WordPress-based data sources. You can connect Google Sheets, WooCommerce, WordPress posts, and any custom post type. Tables can also be created from WooCommerce reviews, Fluent Forms entries, FluentCart products, external CSV files, imported JSON data, or custom SQL queries, depending on the available table creation option.
- Google Sheets integration: Create tables from published spreadsheet data by connecting a sheet and adding its link.
- WooCommerce tables: Display products in customized tabular layouts, with support for WooCommerce product data and WooCommerce reviews tables.
- WordPress posts tables: Present posts, pages, and other content in a searchable, filterable table.
- Custom filters: Add multiple types of filters to help visitors organize and find table data.
- Conditional formatting: Apply conditions such as equal, not equal, contains, or does not contain, then change cell colors, text colors, cell content, or CSS classes.
- Multimedia and data types: Use images, files, lightboxes, buttons, links, and selected field types within tables.
- Front-end editing: Allow table data to be edited from the front end where this capability fits your workflow.
- Advanced table structure: Use stackable tables, merge or split cells, and transform values with HTML.
Practical workflows
Store owners can create product or product comparison tables, while publishers can build searchable directories of posts and pages. Organizations can connect Fluent Forms entries to structured tables, and sites using Google Sheets can present spreadsheet data within WordPress. Conditional formatting is useful for highlighting selected values, while custom filters help visitors narrow larger datasets.
For visual reporting, Ninja Tables works with Ninja Charts to display dynamic charts and graphs. The available chart libraries include ChartJS and Google Charts, with chart types such as pie and bar charts.
Templates, migration, and embedding
More than 50 free table templates provide starting points for common layouts. A template can be downloaded as a ZIP file containing a JSON file, imported into the WordPress dashboard, customized, and embedded. Ninja Tables also supports one-click migration from TablePress and Data Tables Generator by Supsystic.
After creating and styling a table, place it where needed with the provided shortcode. This keeps table creation and presentation separate from the surrounding page or post content.
Installation and setup
Install the paid edition through your normal WordPress plugin workflow, then open the Ninja Tables dashboard. Choose Advanced or Simple mode, select a table creation option, add or connect your data, customize the design and available filters, and save the table. Use its shortcode to display the finished table on your website.
