Responsive sliders for WordPress
Master Slider Pro extends the Master Slider plugin with tools for building responsive, touch-enabled sliders and advanced content presentations. Use it to create full-width, full-screen, or boxed layouts for images, videos, posts, products, galleries, and other featured content. Sliders can be optimized for different screen sizes and used with any WordPress theme, including default WordPress themes.
The plugin provides a drag-and-drop workflow, a WYSIWYG editor, visual styling controls, and a timeline animation tool. This makes it possible to assemble and refine slides without relying on a code-first process.
Content-driven slider options
Master Slider Pro can create post sliders with an advanced filtering tool for any post type. WooCommerce product sliders also include advanced filtering, making them suitable for presenting selected products in a rotating format. Additional dynamic options include sliders built from Flickr photosets or a user’s latest photos, as well as image galleries from public Facebook images.
For campaign pages, featured content, and visual presentations, slides can include HD video backgrounds and embedded YouTube or Vimeo videos. These options allow a slider to combine still images, video, text, and interactive elements in one presentation.
Animated layers and interactive effects
Build slides with four layer types: text, image, button, and video. Each layer can have transition-in and transition-out effects, while the visual editor supports layer alignment, snapping during drag and drop, nine positioning origin points, and real-time animation previews. Google Fonts support includes more than 600 fonts, and the WordPress native text editor can be used within the editing workflow.
Pro features also include hotspots and tooltips, deep-linking, custom pattern and color overlays, and special actions assigned to layers. Actions can include moving to a slide, scrolling down, playing, or pausing. Slides, layers, and hotspots can be linked, while parallax effects can respond to scrolling, swiping, or mouse movement.
Layouts, samples, and controls
Choose from boxed layouts with nearby slides visible, auto-height and auto-fill layouts, and options for automatic resizing and alignment as the stage changes. More than 30 ready-to-use sample sliders can be imported with one click, providing starting points for different presentations.
The broader Master Slider interface includes touch swipe navigation, autoplay timing, multiple transition effects, customizable arrows, bullets, thumbnails, tabs, timer controls, and shortcode and widget options. Import and export tools, custom user roles and capabilities, caching features, multisite compatibility, translation readiness, and a developer API support broader WordPress workflows.
Installation and first steps
Install the Master Slider plugin in WordPress, then activate the Pro version according to the supplied product setup. Open the slider editor, select a layout or import a sample, add slides and layers, and adjust transitions, navigation, styling, and responsive behavior.
