Bring Instagram content into WordPress
Instagram Feed Pro is a paid edition of Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed for displaying Instagram content on a WordPress website. It lets you create, customize, and embed feeds without coding, making it suitable for beginners as well as advanced users.
Use the plugin to present content from Instagram accounts, organize feeds around hashtags, and create displays that fit the design of your website. Multiple feeds can appear on the same page or across different pages, while responsive layouts adapt to different screen sizes and container widths.

Instagram Feed Pro can display feeds from multiple Instagram accounts and supports hashtag feeds for curating content around specific hashtags. You can choose from layout options including Masonry and Highlight, or embed an Instagram carousel to showcase posts in a different format.
Professional feed themes provide ready-made starting points for creating a polished display. You can also adjust the number of photos, columns, photo sizes, feed width and height, background color, image spacing, header style, post settings, and other visual options through the customizer.
Interactive viewing
Lightboxes allow visitors to view photos, Instagram reels, and videos in a popup on your site. Feeds can show captions, likes, and comments, while flexible photo ordering lets you use chronological order or a random arrangement. An optional “Follow on Instagram” button can appear below the feed.
Infinite scrolling is supported through a “Load More” button, allowing visitors to load more Instagram content as they browse. Photo display options include thumbnail, medium, and full-size images.
Control and conversion features
Advanced feed moderation lets you hide or show specific posts. Filtering can display content based on hashtags, keywords, or specific user posts. Shoppable feeds let you add customized links to individual posts, including links that direct visitors to a selected page on your website.
The plugin includes a block for adding feeds to posts and pages in the block editor, as well as an Instagram widget for widget-ready areas such as sidebars and footers. It is compatible with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, and other popular page builders. Custom CSS and JavaScript are available for more advanced customization.
Practical workflow
- Create a feed and choose an Instagram widget source.
- Customize the layout, colors, spacing, header, and post settings.
- Add the feed to a post, page, widget area, or compatible page-builder layout.
- Use moderation and filters to control which Instagram posts appear.
- Add a lightbox, carousel, “Load More” button, or customized post links where appropriate.
