Build Branded Event Pages
Event Single Page Builder Pro is an addon for The Events Calendar that replaces the default single event layout with a custom design. It helps event websites, training portals, conference platforms, festivals, and community event directories present event information in a style that matches the rest of the site.
The Pro edition supports custom layouts for individual events as well as event category, venue, and organizer pages. You can create designs with Elementor or use pre-built templates for sites that do not use Elementor.
Elementor Page Building
With Elementor, you can design a fully custom single event page using a drag-and-drop editor and dynamic event widgets. Pro also provides layouts for the wider event structure:
- Single event pages: Create custom layouts for individual events.
- Category pages: Build archive layouts that organize events by category.
- Venue pages: Design a venue page and display all events associated with that venue.
- Organizer pages: Create organizer detail pages and show related events.
To design category, venue, and organizer layouts in Elementor, the Events Widgets plugin must also be installed alongside Event Single Page Builder.
Pre-built Templates Without Elementor
For non-Elementor sites, Pro includes ready-made templates for single event pages, event category archives, venue pages, and organizer pages. These provide a quicker starting point for sites that need a structured event presentation without building every layout from scratch.
Control Appearance and Assignment
The addon includes options for applying a custom single event layout to all published events. You can also apply multiple templates to different events based on an event category or specific events. This makes it possible to use one design for a general event listing while giving selected categories or events a different presentation.
- Set the date and time format used on single event pages.
- Choose primary colors to match the site’s branding and theme style.
- Set template display conditions.
- Add custom CSS for further event layout adjustments.
- Use a responsive layout for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Additional Event Content
Pro can display speakers and sponsors blocks on an event page when the Events Speakers & Sponsors plugin is installed. This is useful for conferences, training events, and other programs where attendees need more context about the people and organizations involved.
Practical Workflow
Start by choosing whether to build with Elementor or use a pre-built template. Create the single event design first, then configure category, venue, or organizer layouts where needed. Set colors, date formatting, display conditions, and custom CSS, then assign templates globally or to selected events and categories.
Installation
Install and activate The Events Calendar, then install and activate Event Single Page Builder Pro. Configure the addon’s template settings and create the desired layouts. If you plan to build category, venue, or organizer pages with Elementor, install the Events Widgets plugin as well.
