Customize the WordPress administration area
Cusmin is the premium version of Absolutely Glamorous Custom Admin, created for detailed customization and branding of the WordPress dashboard, admin panel, login page, admin bar, and admin menu. It can be used to shape the administration experience for professional or personal sites.
The plugin brings together visual controls and administrative options for changing the appearance of WordPress and hiding interface elements that are not needed. Branding can include custom content, colors, images, and text across selected admin pages.
Admin bar, footer, and dashboard controls
Cusmin lets you hide or modify many admin bar elements. You can replace the WordPress logo with a custom branding image, change the logo link, adjust the page title template, change the site name, and hide the site name or logo. Other controls can hide update notifications, comments, New menu items, selected New submenu entries, and the admin bar itself.
- Change Howdy and Log Out text.
- Remove the Edit My Profile option from the context menu.
- Show the Log Out button only on the right or when the admin bar is hidden.
- Hide or change footer text and version text.
- Change the Dashboard heading text.
- Add custom HTML content to the Dashboard.
- Hide dashboard widgets, Help, Screen Options, or profile color scheme controls.
Menus, login pages, and colors
Admin menu controls can rename or hide menu and submenu items, add buttons with custom links, remove icons, adjust spacing, remove the menu arrow on hover, round submenu popups, and remove the Collapse button. You can also add a branding image above the menu, link that image, and change menu auto-folding settings.
Login page options include changing or hiding the Back to Blog text, changing the login image and its hyperlink, hiding the image, rounding login boxes, and hiding registration or lost-password links. The Colorizer changes background and text colors on the admin and login pages, admin menu colors, and widget colors.
Advanced customization
For more control, Cusmin supports custom CSS and custom JavaScript. It also includes export and import for customization settings, helping you move or preserve configured administration changes.
Practical workflow
Begin by selecting the WordPress area that needs adjustment, such as the admin bar, menu, dashboard, login page, or color settings. Apply branding and visibility changes, then use the advanced options for custom CSS, JavaScript, or settings export and import.
Installation
Add Cusmin to the WordPress site where the administration interface will be customized, then open its customization panel. Work through the available sections to configure branding, visibility, colors, menus, login options, and advanced settings.
