Customize the WordPress login experience
Birds Custom Login Premium provides tools for adapting the WordPress admin login page to your visual requirements. It works with WordPress built-in functionalities, while logout links continue to function as expected. The responsive design helps the login page adjust to different window sizes, including when a fullscreen background image is used.
The plugin settings include a live preview, so you can review the appearance of the login page without logging out. Premium features extend this workflow with instant preview support for custom CSS, giving you a faster way to evaluate visual adjustments while working in the settings.
Branding and visual controls
Use a custom logo to replace the default WordPress logo. If no logo is uploaded, the default logo remains available. A logo width of 320 pixels or less and a height of 200 pixels or less is recommended for the login page.
- Set a background color or use a fullscreen background image.
- Choose whether to use a fullscreen background image and control its position.
- Use links to external images.
- Adjust colors with transparency controls.
- Set form label and form background colors.
- Choose a flat or shadowed form style.
- Use a rounded or squared form and change the radius of a rounded border.
- Configure button background and text colors.
Links, messages, and page details
Birds Custom Login Premium lets you decide whether the “Register – Lost your password?” links and the “Back to” link are shown. You can set the colors for these links, including their hover colors, and adjust the left border color used for message boxes. These controls help coordinate the login form and its supporting links with the rest of the page design.
Settings management
Premium includes settings import and export tools for moving or preserving configuration data. A migration tool is also included to retrieve settings from the free version. If you want to return to the original WordPress template, use the plugin’s Reset button.
The plugin is localization and internationalization ready and follows WordPress i18n standards. Bundled translations include French, Portuguese (pt_PT), and Swedish.
