Flexible availability fields for booking forms
Availability Datepicker Pro extends the Availability Datepicker booking calendar and date time picker for WordPress. It turns text fields into guided date and time selectors that reflect the availability rules configured for your business. The Pro edition is suited to appointments, reservations, rentals, and other forms where customers need to choose an available date, time, or date range.
The datepicker connects with Contact Form 7 and other form plugins through a CSS selector. Add a text field to the form, then assign the relevant CSS class or ID in the Integration panel. No shortcode or custom code is required for this connection.
Three booking types
- Fixed Time Slots: Let visitors choose a specific time slot, such as a consultation or class, using one date and time field.
- Day Based: Provide separate check-in and check-out fields for hotels, bed and breakfasts, and vacation rentals.
- Flexible Range: Use separate start and end date-and-time fields for car rentals, equipment rentals, meeting rooms, and multi-hour bookings.
Rules for practical availability
Configure business hours for each weekday and add multiple open periods to represent schedules such as morning and afternoon shifts. Availability windows can be dynamic, based on a number of days from today, or limited to a fixed date range.
Set slot intervals of 15, 30, or 60 minutes, require advance notice before a selection can be made, and add preparation or cleanup buffers around appointments. You can also configure the timezone used by the availability rules, choose a 12-hour or 24-hour time display, select from more than 15 date formats, and display the calendar inline instead of as a dropdown. The interface can be minimized in more than 40 languages.
Six quick setup presets cover doctor, salon, hotel, car rental, equipment rental, and meeting room scenarios. These provide a starting point for common schedules, including fixed appointments, overnight stays, flexible rentals, and bookings with buffers.
Pro booking and integration features
The Pro edition can capture and manage bookings, block booked slots automatically, and disable dates once they are taken. It supports custom availability rules for multiple resources or form fields, which is useful when different services or resources require independent schedules.
Branding and dynamic styling controls let you adjust calendar colors, fonts, and labels. You can also import availability from an ICS file to sync Google Calendar, Outlook, Airbnb, Booking.com, or another calendar service and block dates that are already occupied. Native Divi and WooCommerce integrations are included for sites using those platforms.
Installation and setup
Install Availability Datepicker Pro in WordPress, add a plain text input to the chosen form, and open the Integration panel. Copy the field’s CSS class or ID into the CSS Selector setting, then configure the booking type, hours, availability window, and other rules. For Day Based and Flexible Range bookings, configure separate fields for the start and end values. Review the resulting calendar on the frontend before publishing the form.
