Dynamic FedEx rates for WooCommerce
FedEx WooCommerce Live Rates PRO connects your WooCommerce store with the FedEx API so customers can see dynamically calculated shipping prices at checkout. Rates are based on the products in the cart, their weight, and the customer’s shipping address. The plugin uses a global shipping method, allowing live FedEx rates to be displayed for products across shipping zones.
The PRO edition is designed for stores that need more control over how packages are prepared, how rates are adjusted, and how delivery information is presented. It supports FedEx services available for the customer’s address while also allowing you to limit the services offered manually.
Flexible package and rate configuration
- Automatic box packing: Pack multiple products based on weight and volume.
- Custom boxes: Define boxes with their own weight and padding.
- Separate packing: Pack items separately when your shipping workflow requires it.
- Rate adjustments: Add fixed-value or percentage handling fees and discounts to FedEx rates.
- Custom origin: Configure a custom shipping origin for rate calculations.
- Multicurrency: Use multicurrency support when presenting shipping options.
- Single shipping methods: Configure a single FedEx Live Rates shipping method.
Delivery estimates and freight options
Show an estimated delivery date at checkout to give customers additional shipping information during purchase. The advanced estimated delivery date settings support maximum time in transit, cutoff time, and lead time. You can also exclude selected days of the week from the estimated delivery date.
For larger or heavier shipments, the PRO edition includes FedEx Freight LTL support. This makes the plugin suitable for stores that need to present standard FedEx services alongside freight shipping options.
FedEx services and rate controls
The plugin can display available FedEx services such as FedEx 2Day, FedEx Ground, FedEx Ground Home Delivery, FedEx Express Saver, FedEx Overnight, FedEx International Economy, FedEx International Priority, FedEx International First, and other services listed by FedEx. Service availability depends on the customer’s address and the configured account connection.
List and Account rates types are supported. You can add shipment insurance, use currencies supported by FedEx, and set a fixed fallback amount when no rates are returned. Debug mode helps diagnose issues with the live-rates configuration. The plugin also includes FedEx REST API support and an AI-powered chat assistant with optional handoff to human support. The PRO upgrade includes priority email support.
Installation and setup
Install and activate FedEx WooCommerce Live Rates PRO in your WordPress site, then configure the FedEx connection and shipping settings. Set the origin, package rules, available services, rate adjustments, and delivery-date options. Test the checkout display with different products, weights, and customer addresses before making the shipping method available to shoppers.
