Floating widgets for any WordPress theme
Ultimate Floating Widgets Pro lets you place WordPress widgets in collapsible floating boxes that remain available at the corners or sides of a page. It is designed for sites that do not use a traditional sidebar, as well as sites that want selected widgets to stay accessible without taking permanent space in the main layout.
Each widget box can be configured as a Popup bubble or a Flyout sidebar. Visitors open the box by selecting its floating button, then minimize it again when they are finished. You can create multiple widget boxes on one page, with separate buttons for opening each one.
Flexible widget box presentation
Add any number of WordPress widgets to a floating box and position the box in one of four corner locations. The plugin supports multiple triggers for opening the floating sidebar, along with automatic opening or closing while a visitor scrolls through the page. Open and closed states can be saved with cookies, helping the widget box preserve its current state for returning visitors.
Use the available styling controls to adjust colors, size, icons, and other presentation settings. Buttons can use the Font Awesome icon font library or a custom image as an icon. The floating widgets are responsive and use the structure and style of the active theme, with options to hide a box in posts, pages, or on mobile devices.
Pro capabilities
- Multiple columns: arrange widgets in multiple columns inside one widget box.
- On-show and idle animation: add animation when the button loads or remains idle to attract attention.
- Advanced location rules: create custom rules that display a widget box only on selected pages.
- Visitor conditions: target display using referrer, browser, operating system, device type, login status, user role, visit count, login count, and other listed conditions.
Practical uses
Use a floating box for a contact form, feedback form, search box, gallery, recent posts, or social widget. It can also keep an Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or another widget available across the site. Multiple boxes allow different widget groups to remain separate, such as contact tools in one box and content links in another.
Installation and setup
Add the plugin to your WordPress site, then open its settings page to create a widget box. Choose Popup bubble or Flyout, select a position, add your widgets, and configure the button, colors, icons, visibility, and behavior. If needed, create additional boxes and apply advanced location rules or visitor conditions to control where they appear.
