Expanded weather information for WordPress
Location Weather Pro extends the Location Weather plugin into a broader weather forecast solution for WordPress. It can present location-based weather, longer forecast ranges, air-quality information, astronomy data, weather maps, and conversational assistance in a range of display formats.
The plugin supports weather for locations worldwide and can use OpenWeather or WeatherAPI as its data source. Locations can be selected by location, ZIP code, city, or coordinates. Weather content can be added through Gutenberg blocks, shortcodes, or the Elementor weather widget, with compatibility also provided for Divi, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, and other page-building setups.
PRO weather and forecast features
Longer forecast ranges
Offer hourly and three-hourly forecasts for up to 120 hours, along with daily forecasts reaching up to 30 days. These extended ranges apply across weather, air-quality, and astronomy information where supported by the plugin.
Air quality information
Display a dedicated Air Quality Index section with real-time AQI, hourly and daily air-quality forecast trends, historical air data, pollutant breakdowns, and health recommendations. This is useful for travel, environmental, health, agriculture, and local information websites.
Sun and Moon Times
Show sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, moon phases, golden hour, daylight duration, and solar events. These astronomy details can add practical context for travel, outdoor activities, photography, events, and location-focused content.
AI Weather Assistant
Add an AI Weather Assistant that lets visitors ask weather questions in plain language. It responds with weather information in a conversational format, giving visitors another way to explore the conditions and forecast data displayed on the site.
Maps and detailed blocks
PRO includes weather display options such as the Weather Accordion, Detailed Forecast, detailed AQI, and Weather Map by OpenWeatherMap. Radar Map by Windy and other weather blocks can help present information through visual, interactive, tabular, grid, or collapsible layouts.
Patterns, blocks, and practical use
The plugin includes ready weather patterns and customizable templates for current conditions, forecasts, AQI, weather grids, tabs, tables, accordions, historical data, sun and moon times, maps, and section headings. Adjust colors, layout, and data to match a travel site, hotel, news portal, agriculture website, event page, real-estate site, or other WordPress project where weather matters.
Installation and setup
To begin, add the plugin to your WordPress site and provide an API key from OpenWeather or WeatherAPI. Select a ready pattern or template, customize the weather display, and publish it through a Gutenberg block, shortcode, or supported page-builder widget.
After setup, choose the location and the information to display, such as extended forecasts, AQI, astronomy data, or map content. The plugin supports switching between the two listed weather API sources, allowing you to select which source powers the weather information on your site.
