Organize WordPress publishing in one place
SchedulePress Pro is a paid scheduling and content workflow tool for WordPress. It helps writers, editors, marketers, strategists, blog owners, and community managers plan posts, organize publishing dates, and share content across selected social platforms. The visual editorial calendar gives you an overview of scheduled and draft content, while drag-and-drop controls make it easier to move posts to different dates.
The Pro edition adds automatic scheduling, missed-schedule handling, manual scheduling, advanced scheduling for published content, and enhanced publishing and social-sharing options. It also includes the scheduling workflow available through the classic editor, Gutenberg, and Elementor.
Plan content with a visual calendar
The editorial calendar provides a practical view of when posts are scheduled to appear. Add posts to the queue, create new content from the calendar, and move scheduled posts by dragging them to another date. This layout is useful for single-author websites as well as multi-author blogs that need a shared view of upcoming work.
A dashboard widget displays scheduled and draft posts directly in the WordPress dashboard. This helps authors and administrators check content status without leaving the main administration area. SchedulePress also supports multiple authors from one place and can send email alerts to authors about blog status.
Use flexible scheduling controls
- Auto Scheduler: Create rules that schedule content at specified intervals or set an exact date and time.
- Manual Scheduler: Choose a precise date and time when you want a post to be published.
- Missed Schedule Handler: Automatically publish posts when WordPress misses their scheduled publication time.
- Advanced Schedule: Schedule updates for an already published blog post or page without drafting or unpublishing it.
- Regular date-based sharing: Automatically share selected content on selected dates.
Advanced scheduling can be used for blog and documentation content, including tags, categories, pictures, featured images, and excerpts. This supports ongoing content maintenance as well as first-time publication.
Publish and share content
SchedulePress Pro can publish immediately while displaying a future date for a post when that option is enabled. It can also automatically share posts when they are published. Supported social platforms listed for the plugin include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Medium, Threads, and Google Business Profile.
Social sharing can be customized per platform or through a global template in the editor. You can share to selected social profiles, use customized templates, and share directly without notifications or reminders when that workflow suits your publishing process.
Work with your preferred editor
Scheduling is available with Classic Editor, Gutenberg, and Elementor. Through the Elementor integration, you can schedule content from the editor panel, unpublish posts that no longer need to remain live, and republish published posts. A modular control panel lets you enable or disable scheduling from Elementor.
Installation and setup
Begin by adding SchedulePress Pro to your WordPress site. Then open its scheduling and social-sharing controls, choose the publishing method that matches your workflow, and configure any calendar, author-alert, scheduling, or platform-specific sharing options you need. For missed schedules, recurring dates, advanced updates, or multiple social profiles, review each relevant Pro setting before publishing.
