WordPress loading screens with flexible control
Preloader Premium is a WordPress plugin edition for adding a preloader to a website. It is designed for a simple setup process, with controls for the loading image, size, background color, display location, and visitor visibility. The Premium edition also provides flexible display options and more than 30 professional templates.
A preloader can be used to present a branded visual while a page or section of a site is loading. With this plugin, you can choose whether the preloader appears across the entire site or in selected areas such as the blog page and posts. You can also determine which audience sees it: everyone, visitors only, or logged-in users only.
Premium templates and appearance settings
Preloader Premium includes 30+ professional templates for creating a ready-made loading experience. If you prefer to use your own visual, the plugin supports uploading a GIF image. The source plugin also provides two free templates, giving you additional starting points for configuring the preloader.
Appearance controls include preloader size and background color. These settings can help you coordinate the loading screen with the visual style of a site without requiring a separate design workflow. The flexible display options provide further control over where the preloader is shown.
Practical display options
- Show the preloader across the entire website.
- Limit the display to the blog page or posts.
- Choose visibility for everyone, visitors only, or logged-in users only.
- Use a selected template or upload a GIF image.
- Adjust the preloader size and background color.
This makes the plugin suitable for different WordPress site structures. A site owner may use a preloader globally for a consistent experience, or apply it to selected content areas when a more focused presentation is preferred. Audience controls can also support different experiences for public visitors and logged-in users.
Designed for straightforward WordPress use
The plugin is described as easy to use and can be set up in three steps. It works with any WordPress theme, so theme updates or changes do not require re-integration. It is also described as compatible with all major browsers and lightweight and optimized for performance.
Documentation and a helpful FAQ section are available for common questions and usage guidance. The FAQ can be accessed through the Preloader plugin’s FAQ tab.
