Sell tickets and collect event registrations
Event Tickets Plus is a paid edition for WordPress websites that need to sell tickets, collect RSVPs, and manage attendees for in-person or virtual events. It extends the Event Tickets and Registration workflow with full WooCommerce integration and additional payment options.
The plugin can support different event models, from free registrations and community gatherings to paid events, venues, restaurants, performances, and online sessions. Tickets and RSVP forms can be added to posts, pages, or custom post types, allowing event registration to fit into an existing WordPress site.
Ticketing and attendee management
Event Tickets supports free tickets through Tickets Commerce, paid ticket sales, attendee registration, and attendee reports. Site owners can create event ticketing workflows, collect registration details, and review information about attendees after tickets or RSVPs have been submitted.
Confirmation emails can be customized, and ticket stock countdowns can help communicate availability to visitors. The responsive design is intended to work across devices, while the plugin has been tested with major theme frameworks including Avada, Genesis, Kadence, and Thesis.
Payment choices with the Plus edition
The base ticketing solution connects with Stripe, PayPal, and Paystack through Tickets Commerce. Stripe supports credit card payments and additional payment methods including AfterPay, ClearPay, AliPay, Giropay, and Klarna. PayPal can be connected through a quick setup wizard in the WordPress backend, with support for PayPal, Venmo, and credit cards.
Event Tickets Plus adds further payment flexibility. Through Stripe, it can unlock digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. With WooCommerce integration, site owners can use additional payment solutions including Braintree, Square, Amazon Pay, and more. The available payment setup depends on the connected service and the configuration of the website.
Flexible foundation for event websites
Event Tickets is designed to work out of the box after installation and configuration, while also providing options for customization. Template tags, hooks, filters, a skeleton stylesheet, partial template overrides, documentation, and free extensions can help adapt the ticketing experience to an existing design or workflow.
The plugin works with The Events Calendar and can be used on standard WordPress sites or larger networks. Its internationalized and translated interface, responsive design, and customization tools make it suitable for organizations with different event requirements.
