Expand WordPress content and admin workflows
ASE Pro is the paid edition of Admin and Site Enhancements, a WordPress plugin designed to enhance administration workflows and site management. It brings content, media, and organizational tools together so site owners can handle more tasks from one plugin.
The Pro edition includes custom content tools and extends selected modules with additional controls. It is suited to websites that manage structured content, multilingual material, multiple user roles, or large media libraries.
Custom content management
With Custom Content Types, ASE Pro can register custom post types, custom taxonomies, custom field groups, and options pages. These tools integrate with Bricks, Breakdance, Oxygen, and Elementor. The feature is also compatible with various block themes and plugins, integrates with WPML, and works with TranslatePress for multilingual sites.
The Post Type Switcher allows one or more posts to be moved to a different post type. This can help when content structures change or items need to be reorganized without handling each post as a separate task.
Content Duplication supports duplicating pages, posts, and public custom post types. ASE Pro adds controls for allowing duplication only for selected user roles and selected public or non-public post types. It also adds a location option for duplication links.
Ordering and organizing content
ASE Pro expands Content Order beyond hierarchical post types. It supports drag-and-drop ordering for non-hierarchical post types, including media and attachments. You can also reorder child posts, change their parent, and apply a custom order on the frontend. The feature is compatible with WPML.
Terms Order provides drag-and-drop ordering for terms and child terms from various taxonomies. The selected order can be applied on the frontend, and the feature is compatible with WPML.
Media library controls
Media Categories adds hierarchical categories to the media library, with drag-and-drop categorization and WPML compatibility. Media Replacement lets you replace any type of media file with a new file while ensuring existing links do not break.
In Pro, media can also be replaced from the media library grid view. Replacement can use a different file type and file name, and image sub-sizes inside posts and options can be replaced as well.
Media Files Visibility Control limits what non-administrator users see in the media library. Administrators can see all media files, while non-administrators see files they uploaded themselves. ASE Pro adds an option to choose which non-administrator roles receive this limitation.
ASE Pro also supports SVG uploads with sanitization and can enable AVIF uploads in the Media Library.
Installation and setup
Install the ASE Pro package in WordPress, then open the plugin settings and enable the modules required for your workflow. Configure content types, ordering, duplication permissions, and media controls according to your site structure and user roles.
