Flexible product tables for WooCommerce
Product Table for WooCommerce Premium gives store owners a table-based way to present products instead of relying only on standard grid layouts. Tables can be added to any page or post with a shortcode, and you can create as many tables as needed. This format is suitable for restaurant ordering, wholesale catalogs, online book stores, course booking, music products, and other stores where customers need to compare or select several items efficiently.
Search, filters, and product organization
The table can provide advanced search and filtering across product information. Customers can search or filter by categories, tags, colors, sizes, attributes, custom fields, SKU, or other taxonomy data. Product queries can also use category, taxonomy, tag, menu order, and price limits. A table may be configured to include or exclude selected products or categories, show limited product sets, and sort products by values.
Attributes can appear in their own columns as well as in the search box. Custom columns can be added, and columns can be designed individually. A description column can display product specifications, which is useful for catalogs such as mobile products or other items requiring detailed comparisons.
Variations and ordering workflows
Variable products can be displayed with each variation in a separate row. A variation table can replace the default variation dropdown on variable product pages and show the selected table across those pages. Variation labels can also be displayed, and product options may be pre-selected.
The Quick Order Table lets customers add products to the cart by increasing quantities. A restaurant-style table can support ordering directly from the product list. Add-to-cart buttons are customizable, and a table can be configured to redirect customers to the cart or checkout after adding a product. A floating mini cart can be shown or hidden and customized.
Placement, visibility, and presentation
Tables can be displayed on shop, archive, category, tag, and taxonomy areas, as well as on individual variation product pages. Archive placement can override the default archive display, while products continue to follow the WooCommerce default query. Columns can be hidden from guest users or limited to logged-in users, allowing different information to be presented based on account status.
Other documented options include instant search, a load more button, pagination controls, popup notices, graphical stock status, and audio playback within an audio table. Table data can also be exported, and table data can be imported where supported by the product workflow.
Shortcode setup
Create a table and place it with a shortcode such as [Product_Table ID=’123′ name=’Table Name’]. The ID is required and is generated when the table is created. The name is optional and is used to identify the shortcode. Developers can pass query arguments through shortcode attributes and extend functionality with action and filter hooks.
Installation
Install the Product Table for WooCommerce plugin in WordPress, activate the Premium edition, create a table, configure its products and columns, and add the generated shortcode to a page or post. Review the table on the storefront, then adjust filters, ordering controls, visibility, and cart behavior for the intended customer workflow.
