Advanced SEO automation for WordPress
ThinkRank Pro is the paid edition of ThinkRank, an AI SEO plugin for WordPress. It combines advanced search optimization tools with a built-in, self-hosted Model Context Protocol server, allowing compatible AI assistants to operate SEO functions from a chat window. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible assistants can be used for supported tasks after an administrator enables and connects the service.
The Pro edition is designed for site owners, publishers, agencies, WooCommerce stores, local businesses, and teams managing SEO work across many pages. It extends the plugin’s core tools for metadata, schema, XML sitemaps, robots controls, social metadata, local SEO, and search insights with more automation and monitoring.
Pro capabilities

Work through an AI assistant
ThinkRank exposes more than 35 SEO tools over MCP. Depending on the connected assistant, users can ask for metadata updates, schema changes, sitemap or robots settings, image SEO, social metadata, instant indexing, llms.txt, SEO scores, and opportunity reviews. Example requests include writing a title and meta description, finding posts without metadata, adding FAQ schema, or identifying pages with high impressions and low click-through rates.
Access is designed to remain controlled. MCP is off until an administrator enables it, connections can be revoked with one click, and the plugin provides a connection health check and dry-run previews for SEO imports. Users bring their own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter, with no monthly AI credit meter described for the plugin.
Migration and site workflows
The Setup Wizard can import supported data from Rank Math, Yoast SEO, All in One SEO, and SEOPress, including metadata, schema, sitemap settings, image SEO, and title formats. It can also import selected settings such as Knowledge Graph details, breadcrumb settings, social defaults, and other supported configuration data before deactivating the previous SEO plugin as part of the migration workflow.
ThinkRank works with Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, Oxygen, Breakdance, and the Classic Editor. It also supports multilingual sites using WPML, Polylang, or TranslatePress, with hreflang support for WPML and Polylang.
Getting started
Install ThinkRank on the WordPress site, use the Setup Wizard to configure or migrate SEO data, and enable Pro tools for the required workflow. Set site identity, metadata, schema, sitemap, and analytics preferences, then connect an AI assistant through the guided OAuth 2.1 flow or an Application Password and ready-made configuration. Review permissions, connection health, and previews before applying automated changes.
