Build front-end forms for user content
USP Pro extends User Submitted Posts with a form builder for creating unlimited front-end forms. It is intended for websites that want visitors to submit content without using the standard WordPress administration area. You can create forms for post submissions, user registration, contact workflows, or combinations of these activities.
The Pro edition includes unlimited forms and unlimited form fields, allowing different pages or audiences to use different submission experiences. In the WordPress admin area, the form builder lets you add fields, labels, and related text for each form. This provides a practical way to tailor forms to the information your site needs to collect.
Support for posts and custom content
USP Pro supports unlimited Custom Post Types and custom Taxonomy fields. Forms can also use Custom Post Status and Post Formats, giving you more control over how submitted information is organized and handled in WordPress. A combo form can submit a post and register a user in the same workflow.
Submitted content can be displayed on the front end with the advanced shortcode for submitted posts. This makes it possible to create pages that present user-submitted material after it has been handled according to your chosen WordPress content workflow.
Forms for different visitor workflows
Use separate forms when your site needs distinct processes. A post-submission form can collect articles, listings, or other user-generated content. A user-registration form can gather account information, while a contact form can provide a front-end communication route. Combo forms combine post submission and user registration when both actions belong together.
Custom error messages and custom redirects help shape what visitors see when a form is completed or encounters a problem. Advanced security features are also included in the Pro edition. The available submission features can be combined with the underlying plugin’s form controls, including required or optional fields, input validation, captcha choices, hidden fields, and optional login requirements.
Uploads and reusable form controls
The base plugin supports image submissions and can display submitted images on the front end. USP Pro adds multimedia file uploads and supports video and other file types supported by WordPress. This expands the types of material visitors can provide through a front-end form.
Forms can include fields such as name, email, URL, title, tags, categories, content, custom fields, checkboxes, terms agreement, and image uploads. You can choose which fields appear and set displayed fields as required or optional. Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile are among the available anti-spam options described for the plugin.
